The mug saga. Part 2.

BTS @anewsshowofficial

For Context: Kept trying to sneak my mug into this episode - a nostalgic mug from our 2020 Covid-19 News Days. Here we’re discussing how what we just shot was our favorite take… and me revealing that I’d had the mug secretly on my lap… possibly clanking at the desk… throughout the whole thang. And now you’re caught up.

“Noooo I want it.”

The mug saga. Part 1.

For context - this mug is nostalgic for me - as it’s a shoutout to our Covid-19 News 2020 era - the weekly show Chris and I originally created when we were dating and more or less living out of this very studio apartment and making content to make sense of the crazy world we were all living. I wanted it featured in my first episode of a News Show. It’s full of water I swear. All caught up.

Next @anewsshowofficial episode - with me as guest host - coming out Wednesday December 10th.

There is actually not much more peak fun then THIS in terms of what I truly love and have always loved most in this life…

Playing with a camera or recording apparatus of some sort, with other silly brained spirits, laughing my ass off can’t breathe style.

BTS of last night shooting @anewsshowofficial. New episode coming out later today.

Filmed this reel in Lisboa a few months ago when this audio reel clip was trending and I was going thru past
@newstoamuse - Covid-19 News episodes…

Was sitting in drafts.

Don't love where this is heading except that we may finally be making our way toward non-binary two party pandering politics.

Covid-19 News, Season 1, Ep. 18 Oct 12, 2020

Mike Pence Flygate: The Fly Speaks Out!

Original Release Date: Oct 12, 2020

Hi BBs. It’s Practicing Human, @jennajai, coming to you with a special TBT and Picking-Up-Where-I-Left-Off-#StoryOfMyLife-On-This-Covid-19News-Landing-Page-Memoriam-For-What-Was-A-Time-And-A-News-Show-Documenting-The-Life-And-Times-of-2020-AND-An-Echo-Of-What-May-Be-In-A-Number-Of-Capacities…

ie: will history repeat itself and/or how is it already repeating itself... as well as... will a news show... like this one return?

The possibilities... are... well... possibility-y.

… and also holy wow has my own internal sense of what is ridiculous versus what is sound and sane also gone thru major shifts since Oct 2020.

Questions to discuss in the classroom today -
how is where we are at today on a national & global scale impacted by what was going down 2 years ago?

how are you feeling? how are you empowering yourself lately?

How have your views altered/evolved if at all? Are you currently feeling open to conversation with the “other” side or are you currently feeling in protective mode… willing or unwilling?

And if you are feeling any sense of challenge and deflation, what small action might you do today that inspires you IN to connection and forward movement?

The What Was What:
Trump goes maskless, the CDC’s almost mask mandate, Mike Pence had a fly on his head during the VP debate, the fly is interviewed and speaks out, and a domestic terrorist militia group plotted to kidnap Michigan governor, Gretchen Whitmer and Lindsey Graham says black people and immigrants are free so long as they are not liberal.

So… I never finished archiving Covid-19 News… on its own separate ig page after the first one was taken down. Picking up where I left off.

A teaser. Full episode, time capsule from 4 years ago when we were hella messy, and yet not AS messy as now… coming Thurs.

Factual. Serious. Usually Funny.

Much love, BBs.

Hi BBs. It’s “what was that now?…” Wednesday. Come along with me and @newstoamuse back to Sept 28, 2020. When the world was collectively a weeee bit slower yet no less turbulent. And right and wrong felt a wee bit more binarily certain. Sharing the Facts and our Take-of-the-Times-at-the-time on the following:

One month forecast on cases/deaths of Covid-19, Florida lifting virus related business restrictions, Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ interview gone wrong with Australian journalist, Trump getting booed at Ginsburg’s funeral, Trump nominating Amy Coney Barrett for the Supreme Court, and the Grand Jury decision in the Breonna Taylor case that was delivered to national protests.

Morninggggg… AND we take on a different flashback tone for this one.

Approx this time 2 years ago, our RBG crossed over. Parallels and impact with what continues to unfold on the world stage can be drawn galore since then. We are connected. How we wish to feel free to choose what is right for our bodies, our expression, our souls, our safety… unites us more than we allow ourselves to recognize.

And with that bag of fundamental meets gray meets only gonna feel at peace when we stop hurting our opposing human family to prove our points… enjoy this pointed take on 2 yrs ago.

Full drop over at @newstoamuse at noon.

Week of Aug 22, 2020. Truly. My favorite episode of Covid-19 News we did done. Full 2 Yr anniversary episode dropping at @newstoamuse later today...

Whether it’s because I got a shark week joke in there or… bc it was the week a bison de-pant-sed a woman on the side of the road… or bc it was a week with more genuine comedy than tragedy… I know you’ll enjoy (or re-enjoy) this one.

See you soon.
