What a night for North East Talent 🎬🏆

The Royal Television Society North East and Border Awards (@rtsnetb) held over the weekend at @hiltonnewcastlegateshead were a true celebration of the incredible creativity coming out of our region, and we were proud to see Forge talent right at the heart of it. ♥️

Huge congratulations to Colette Knowles (@colette_knowles), who was nominated for her involvement in Red Stamp Productions’ (@red_stamp_productions) advert ‘The Spark’. A fantastic achievement and so well deserved.

And an enormous congratulations to Forge Mentor Craig Pearson (@craigpearsonofficial), who attended the event with some of the other cast and crew of Morning Sir Productions (@morningsirproductions) who’s short film ‘Gan Canny’ was nominated in the Non-Broadcast Scripted & Non-Scripted category!

Which WON! 🏆

An incredible result and a brilliant moment for everyone involved including cast member and Forge alumni @lowes_sj 👏

We were also delighted to see Forge Member Lauren Conlin (@laurenjadeconlin) in attendance, having been involved in Red Stamp Productions ‘Sand Dancers’ which picked up the Award for Best Sports Programme, another brilliant success story and testament to the strength of work being created in our region. 💪🏼

With many other Forge faces including our lovely mentor @lauraleefem93, and industry friends @conwaysinsta @andreadavison77 @newtownartists @scripty.life @jacobstockton98 @fullyloadedpicturesuk @natalieannjamieson in attendance, it was a powerful reminder of just how much talent exists here in the North East. We’re proud of our actors, proud of our mentors, and proud to be part of a region that continues to create, collaborate and win. 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

Here’s to many more success stories, and more celebrations like this. 🙏🏼

RUNWAY ROOMS This wasn’t a networking event.

It was a take off point.✈️

Thank you to everyone who came to the Runway Rooms launch. Your energy, questions and presence matter more than you know.

A studio is not a hanger.

It’s a runway.

A place where ideas are developed, built properly and launched with intention.

Together with Ammar Mirza CBE and the team at ISS AirView Park, we are building something structured, ensuring every project that takes off is ready, crewed and built to reach its destination.

This is about ownership.
Consistency.
Infrastructure.

Not waiting to be chosen.

To those who couldn’t make it, stay close. Founding moments don’t stay open forever.

The runway are open now let's get ready to fly ✈️

INCLUSION BY DEFAULT / WORKING CLASS REALITY

Inclusion by default means recognising where creativity really comes from

The creative industries often talk about inclusion but rarely about reality.

The reality is that many independent creatives particularly from working-class backgrounds, build their craft without access to networks, safety nets or insider knowledge. They create anyway. They adapt. They make something from very little.

That isn’t a weakness.
It’s where originality comes from.

The Runway Rooms starts from that truth.

No gatekeeping.
No insider language.
No assumption that people already know how to navigate the system.

This isn’t about lowering standards.
It’s about removing unnecessary barriers so talent can surface, develop and stay connected.

Inclusion here isn’t something we add later.
It’s how the room is designed from day one.

More details of our open day coming soon!

✈️ THE RUNWAY ROOMS | A Creative Home built from people, Not permission

We’re opening the doors at ISS Airview Park for the launch of The Runway Rooms, part of the North East’s growing Creative Motion (CM3) a project and ecosystem delivered in partnership with ABConnexions, SME Centre of Excellence, PIE Factory, Newtown Artist Management, University of Sunderland and aligned regional creative and educational organisations.

The Runway Rooms is a people led micro-studio ecosystem built to support independent creatives and practitioners for actors, writers, directors, producers, crew and makers, many of whom come from working class backgrounds and have historically had to navigate the creative industries without clear routes, safety nets or ownership.

Inclusion here is not a programme or a target, it is the starting position.

Most creative lives are lived independently. Between projects. Outside institutions. Developing skills, ideas and work long before funding or permission ever arrives.

For too long, creative value has passed through the North East without staying in it. Not through lack of talent but through lack of infrastructure built around everyday creative reality.

This changes now.

The Runway Rooms is about creating locally, retaining ownership and building a creative home where people don’t have to leave the region or who they are to be taken seriously.

Open Day details to follow soon and please share ✌🏻✈️ #TheRunwayRooms

Here’s a look back at 2025 in just 20 images. I honestly could’ve shared 2000!! 📸

A personal thank you to everyone I’ve had the opportunity to work with this year, on set, on stage, behind the scenes, make up, wardrobe, writers, producers and directors.

I’ve met and connected with so many AMAZING people this year, and I’m very grateful to them and to all for the incredible support I continue to receive on this journey. 🎭

2025 marked my 6th year chasing the dream of becoming a professional actor. Now that I’m here, I just want to keep pushing, keep growing, keep learning, keep getting better and stronger and keep working with the very best in the business in 2026. 💪🏼

A huge thanks to everyone at The Actors Forge (@theactorsforge), who I get to work alongside every week. You each individually inspire me in every class, session, and showcase!

To my mentors and great friends Dan Lemon (@danielmlemon) and Craig Conway (@conwaysinsta) who have challenged me, guided me, and pushed me forward throughout my career so far. A huge thank you to you both. ❤️

And to my agent Andrea Davison (@andreadavison77) at Newtown Artist Management (@newtownartists) who continues to open doors for me, to get me seen and heard. Bring on 2026! 🙌🏻

To my friends and family, you know who you are! Thank you for the support, the messages, the love, the sacrifices, and for always showing up to my shows. It never goes unnoticed and is always appreciated. ❤️

If you know me well, you’ll know I can’t sit still. I’m always pushing, and working relentlessly to get where I want to be. 🎯

With four projects already in place for the coming year, plus some potential MASSIVE opportunities in the pipeline, I’m making 2026 the year I really lift off in this space I absolutely adore! 🥰

So here’s to us all, I’m wishing you everything you wish for yourselves in the new year! 🙏🏼

See you out there! 🥂

Craig 😎 xx

✨ Celebrating Success ✨

We’re so happy to share that Lynn Huntley (@lynnhuntley5125) and Nick Odoni are on set today together, filming for the latest Enhanced Conservatories Windows and Doors Advert.

We were approached directly to help cast this, and after reviewing all of our talent, selected Lynn and Nick as their preferred choices 👏

Both are represented by Andrea at Newtown Artist Management Ltd. (@newtownartists)

As long-serving members of The Forge, their commitment and professionalism we’re sure will shine through.

Lynn also plays a vital role in our community as Acting Coach for our Academy pupils, passing on her expertise to the next generation.

We’re grateful, inspired, and so proud of them both.
