What a weekend… IN THE VALLEY!

After returning from an exhilarating, inspiring, all-encompassing mini-tour of the Granite State with a cast of eight amazing and hilarious singers & actors, a truly formidable and outrageously versatile six-piece band, and a show that is seeming to assume its own shape and voice and spirit through the devotion of a growing team of theater artists…

… I was teaching the funniest play of all time, The Importance of Being Earnest, in my Comedy & Tragedy class, and the word “quixotic” came up. (Definition: exceedingly idealistic, unrealistic, and impractical, often marked by a noble or romantic pursuit that ignores basic common sense.)

Anyone trying to make a musical would earn this definition— but when a monarch butterfly floated past the stage during an amazing rendition of “When We Play,” all the work and time and ardor made perfect unrealistic impractical sense.

Thanks to all who joined us, some from the Valley and others from farther afield! Let’s do it again next summer… at Korg ‘84! 🎾

I graduated!!! 🙌🎓✨

I can't believe that after 4 years at @berkleecollege , I finally got my degree in Film and Media Scoring with a minor in Conducting. 🤩 I'm so proud to be graduating with my friends and walking across the stage with this amazing group of people.

I'm so grateful to my family for supporting me through everything and believing in my dream, to my friends who were there for me through all the ups and downs, and to my professors who taught me how to be a better musician and person. 🫂

The last few years have been a whirlwind and an incredible journey. From midnight recording sessions and pulling all-nighters to organizing all my concerts and managing club events, there were times when it felt like too much. 🫠 These have been some of the toughest years of my life, and I've become a different person because of them, but I've had so much fun doing what I love. 🥹

I've learned to stay true to myself, believe in myself, be kind and stay positive because the world needs so much more of it. 💜

Congratulations, Class of 2026 — WE DID IT! 🤭😉🥳

graduated with some of the coolest people in the whole wide world last week.

everything i did and everyone I was lucky enough to meet during my time at berklee could not have been more of a blessing on my life. to everyone who, at any point, was a part of my berklee journey, you’ve made these years unforgettable and i love you dearly for it. I am better for having known each and every one of you.

Almost four years ago I came here with no friends and almost no idea what I wanted to do with my life, and I’m so lucky and thankful that i’ve found the heartfelt community and driving passion that now is so entrenched with who i’ve become. I can’t wait to see the things we all do, but goddamn it if I won’t miss all of you! I’ll make sure to keep a time slot open for a mario kart night every now and then.

let’s go make music, tell stories, and change the world!
