Next up in the Ohana tree is one of the most humble and kindest humans and also just a amazing artist and craftsman our brada jason williams! @dubside_tattoo
ā€œMy name is Jason Williams and I live in a small town in the mountains of eastern Arizona. I’ve been tattooing for 15 years and building machines for 7. I started building machines to learn more about the tools I use everyday and found I really enjoyed it. I never intended to sell any and that still isn’t my priority. I build slow, one at a time and experiment a lot.ā€

Jason hand makes a lot of everything that he uses on his machines and is always adding plenty of magic into everything he does! We love you, Jason! Keep killing it! If you don’t follow @dubside_tattoo or have a machine from him, it’s time to set up some new goals for your life, especially if you’re a Tattoo Artist! #machinebuildersohana

This next extraordinary human and hanai brother (big bro to me) to our ever-growing ohana is none other than Jason fucking Haney @badbrass1 I know how much jason means to TATTOO and the people that encompass it! If you’re fortunate to have jason in your life, you literally have one of the best brothers you could get! And if you happen to have a machine or any of the beautiful things metal or in the skin from him, you are very fortunate!
ā€œ I startedĀ messing with tattooing 91-92 in MD. tattooing friends and trying to figureĀ it out onĀ my own. 95-96 I was learning from a guy in Bloomsburg for some time untilĀ I overstepped my bounds and got canned for being a little ass hole. I just kept at it.I have been doing mechanicalĀ work on other stuff as well since I was a teen. cars, motorcycles.. stuff like that so tattoo machines didn’tĀ seem like a hard or complicated thing to me. Naturally I just started messing withĀ them more and more untilĀ I was full on making them. Small town life was a pain in the ass. I was doing fine but I wasn’tĀ growing as an artist as much as I would have liked. so i packed up in the early 2000s and moved to FL. There I would find all the art I wanted. it was refreshing after years doing bamgers on collage girls and furthering my art making machines, building motorcycles, cars, learning to carve metal, shaping my own sides. startingĀ my journey with engraving. After a bit my dad asked me to move back to tx for family reasons.soonĀ after i would go through somethingĀ no man should have to deal with. the death of my only son...I wasĀ  devastatedĀ to my core.still working as a full time tattooer I would become more and more reclusive. not leaving my home for months at a time.Ā after a lot of inner anguish. My good friends didn’t want to let me rot myself away anymore. they reached down into the hole i had dug for myself and started pulling me out. thank god because they gave me the courage and will to start creating again. this page represents growth and advancement in the world of tattooing. its a pleasure to be a part of it. down but not out. I thank god i’m still here to witness it.ā€
