What’s up, Cardboard Cousins, we are finally cracking open Melodies today and standard components just cannot compete with what @next_move_games packed into this box. The artwork hits immediately as soon as that lid slides off, giving off pure tabletop eye candy before you even touch the cards. You already know that fresh cardboard smell paired with pristine tiles gets the competitive itch going right out of the gate. JAPAN - THE HAUL AND THE TRIP 🇯🇵 I've been in Japan for two weeks and apart from visiting Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka, I've also taken the time to visit some board game stores and get some games as loot! Soooo enjoy the pics, and if you want, read the captions to know more about these games and places! This pic was taken at the impressive Bamboo forest near Kyoto! 🎍 #boardgames #gaming #japan JAPANESE MINKA 🎌 This pic was taken at a Japanese traditional house, called minka, the ones you usually see in animes and movies! There was this open circular window which was simply the best picture location 🤣 ETERNAL SEVENS 🧞‍♂️ A reimplementation of the classic game "Sevens", a competitive card shedder, but with the characteristic wonderful art and eternals from the same line as the popular hit "Eternal Decks". Of course it includes many twists and gaming variants that make it different from the classic game FUSHIMI INARI ⛩️ One of the most famous temples in Kyoto, with its characteristic orange vermillion torii gates. It is dedicated to Inari, the God of rice and business prosperity. To have a good experience, you need to start the climb at around 6AM before it gets swarmed! GHOST LIFT 👻 This was a gift for a friend who was simply not able to ever get this game at last year's Essen Spiel, because it would go instantly sold out every day! It's basically a cute card shedder where you play cards in increasing or decreasing numbers depending on the direction of the lift. If you still have cards in hand at the end of the round you collect ghosts and collecting too many ghosts will just make you lost! NARA PARK 🦌 Just a few mins away from Kyoto there is this insane park full of hundreds of seeds roaming free who just too te habit of Boeing at tourists to try and get good. Suggestion: if you go there don't buy them cookies or they will attack you in the blink of an eye, otherwise they're just the cutest little creatures ever, one of my highlights. Close by there is also a temple with one of the biggest Buddha statues in the country! MELODIES 🎸🥁🪇🎤 Un jeu coopératif avec des niveaux de difficultés de concerts croissants 🎼 Tout le monde peut jouer des notes (chiffres) et la majorité sera la note pour ce tour. Sauf que voilà on a des contraintes de poses, mêmes chiffres ou suite et on ne peut pas ranger les cartes dans sa main. Les pouvoirs asymétriques, ainsi que nos fans, vont nous aider mais c'est pas évident. 😅 Surtout qu'on doit respecter la partition, sinon on perd tous ensemble 😵‍💫

Azul Kids! 🔴🔵🟢🟡 We’ve played quite a few children’s games with our daughter, and quite a few of them feel pretty watered down for adults. We’ve been playing Azul Kids lately, designed by Michael Kiesling and published by Asmodee Kids and Next Move games, and have been pleasantly surprised by how much we’ve all enjoyed it and how well designed it is. The colored pieces feel great, the animal illustrations are cute, and our daughter loves putting everything together. For a twenty five dollar game, it feels like an amazing value. What we’ve appreciated most is that there’s actually some solid strategy to think about here. It’s simpler than regular Azul, but you’re not just going through the motions and each game differs. Even with those decisions, our almost four-year-old picked it up pretty easily, and she’s really enjoyed it. If you’ve got younger kids and like board games yourself, we’d say check this one out. It’s a hit for us!

💗🎲 Octobre Rose au Bar à Jeux de l’Orge : une mobilisation qui fait chaud au cœur ! 🎲💗 Encore plus de 50 joueurs réunis samedi soir pour notre soirée spéciale Octobre Rose ! 🩷 Un immense merci à tous nos joueurs d’avoir soutenu cette belle action jusqu’au bout des ongles ! 😄💅 Une de nos adhérentes est même venue avec le ruban rose dessiné sur ses ongles : voilà un engagement jusque dans les moindres détails ! 🎗️💗 🏆 Un tournoi tout rose avec Symbiose ! @subvertigames Pour l’occasion, notre tournoi mettait à l’honneur Symbiose. Et après une belle bataille, c’est David qui remporte la victoire avec 80 points, suivi de très près par Mathis et Sabrina, à seulement un point derrière avec 79 points ! 👏🌸 🎲 La belle découverte de la soirée : Challengers ! @nextmoveofficial @zmangamesofficial Certes, le jeu n’est pas tout récent, mais Challengers, sacré As d’Or 2023, a véritablement cartonné tout au long de la soirée ! Des parties fun, de l’ambiance et des rebondissements… bref, un jeu qui a encore prouvé qu’il avait tout pour plaire ! 🔥 🎗️ Et dimanche matin, on a continué en rose ! @villesgdb91 Une dizaine de nos adhérents ont chaussé leurs baskets pour participer à la marche d’Octobre Rose organisée par la Ville. Un beau moment de convivialité et de solidarité pour soutenir cette noble cause. 💗 Bravo à tous pour votre mobilisation ! ❤️ Merci à toutes et à tous d’avoir fait de ce week-end un si beau moment de jeu et de solidarité ! 📅 Rendez-vous samedi 17 octobre à 20h ! Een geinig kaartspelletje met elementen van gokken en geluk. 💞 𝗪𝗜𝗦𝗣𝗪𝗢𝗢𝗗: In dit tegellegspel bouw je een grid van tegeltjes met daarop dwaallichten en bomen. Elk dwaallichtje heeft een eigen doelkaart. Je probeert iedere tegel dus zo goed mogelijk in je grid neer te leggen voor zo veel mogelijk punten. 🏖️ 𝗠𝗔𝗨𝗜: Nog een tegellegspel waarin je dezelfde kleuren of patronen van handdoekjes met elkaar probeert te verbinden.
