"If this secondary looks better without Reed Blankenship, like David Montgomery, you've got to have some tough conversations."

Reed Blankenship's coverage stats with the Texans through 6 games: (ranks for the team, according to @nextgenstats)

🔸️ 30x targeted (2nd-most)
🔸️ 23 receptions allowed (2nd-most, clears #3 by 8)
🔸️ 278 receiving yards allowed (2nd-most, clears #3 by 45)
🔸️ 2 TD's allowed (T-most)
🔸️ 112.9 passer rating allowed (3rd-highest, clears #4 by 25.4)
🔸️ 76.7% catch rate allowed (clears #2 by 1.7%)

With Blankenship possibly out this Sunday vs. the Giants (concussion), Houston will get a clearer idea of what needs to happen at the safety spot moving forward.

I'm pretty sure @fieldyates caught up in the ratings, but it was fun while I was ahead 😜

🤩 TRENDING: According to @nextgenstats, Bears QB Caleb Williams was a PERFECT 24-for-24 for 248 yards passing from a clean pocket in the Week 6 win over the Atlanta Falcons. That is the most consecutive completions from a clean pocket by any quarterback since 2018.
-
Caleb was great today in his return, and this stat also gives a bunch of credit to the Bears’ offensive line that was pretty rock solid for the most of the day with a QB that may not be 100% just yet. Time to keep this momentum rolling back at home in Week 7 👏
