Why do I include dogs in almost every family session?

This is why. 👇

At my recent 5th biz birthday event, the incredible Miss World WA, @nataschakrakolinig, put into words something I’ve always believed…

I don’t see “someone with a dog.” I see a true love story. 💞💞

Before I ever pick up my camera, I want to know their story.

Their personality.

Their place in your family.

Because that’s what I’m really photographing. 🙏

I’m on a mission to change the way people see ‘dog photography’.

It’s not about “pets”.

It’s about family.
It’s about connection and probably the greatest love affair you’ll ever have if you have a dog 🥺🥺

It’s about creating artwork that makes you feel something every time you walk past it. 🥺

Because one day, these photographs won’t just remind you what they looked like.

They’ll remind you what it felt like to love them. ❤️

Tell me, what do you always want to remember about your dog??

The power of one idea.

One conversation became a partnership.
One partnership became a statewide initiative.

Today, more than 100 rescue dogs across Western Australia have a comfortable bed to rest on. 🐾

I’m incredibly proud to have partnered with Acacia Prison operated by Serco Asia Pacific, where prisoners handcraft dog beds through a charity production program using recycled textiles. It’s a program built on rehabilitation, sustainability and giving back to the community.

After more than 10 years working alongside rescue organisations, I wanted to create more than a donation. I wanted to build a partnership with purpose.

For me, this initiative is about second chances.
Second chances for dogs waiting for loving homes.
Second chances for people to make a positive contribution to their community.

And a reminder that when compassion, sustainability and collaboration come together, incredible things can happen.

I had the pleasure of speaking at an event hosted by @thelifestylephodographer, celebrating strong women and the animals we love so dearly.

It was such a privilege to share my journey working alongside animal shelters across Western Australia, my experience in pageantry, and a sneak peek at the projects I have planned for 2026 and 2027.

Thank you so much for having me. 🤍

What started small in my hometown in WA has grown into something beyond my imagination.

I’ve been working quietly behind the scenes on some big projects for 2026 to support shelters and dogs in WA… and expanding beyond Australia.

Stay tuned — big announcement coming this month.

It’s always so lovely when a dog is adopted but it’s even better when a dog that has waited a long time finally finds their forever home.

Yes, shelters can be emotional. But for rescue dogs, the happiest moments are when someone walks in just for them.

In a world where you can be anything, be kind.

In Bali, I saw the reality so many dogs face every day, and that morning, I witnessed these three pups having sand thrown in their faces. When all they wanted was a bit of affection and water.

Kindness costs nothing, but it can change everything. I am committed to advocating for animal welfare and using my platform to educate, amplify rescue organisations, and encourage ethical choice.

In 2026 I am looking forward to working with our neighbours in Bali to support their rescue organisations.

Stay tuned for my announcement. 🎉

Day 3: Head-to-Head Challenge @missworld.au

This segment has been one of the most powerful and inspiring parts of the competition. I am deeply moved by the incredibly strong testimonies shared by my fellow contestants.

It was a true honor to present my Beauty With A Purpose (BWAP) project addressing Australia’s Surrender crisis and to share my children’s book. I am so grateful to have placed in the top 5 in this challenge. 🙏🏼

As Miss World Australia draws to a close tomorrow, I find myself deeply reflecting on the mission that drove every step: raising awareness for the pet surrender crisis and tirelessly advocating for responsible pet ownership across the nation.

To my inspiring sisterhood and everyone who has supported me, thank you. I am profoundly grateful for the connections and encouragement.

My commitment to the welfare of all dogs is unwavering—I will continue this vital work until my last breath.

(P.S. Sweet Ace is still waiting for his forever home.
