A few weeks into his first semester at Colorado College, we checked in with Mateo. Here's what he told us, in full:

"My first few weeks at college have been amazing! I love the team and school so much and feel I have really acclimated well to the new environment. I love the discipline with which I'm forced to act for the tennis team and as a student athlete. Accountability is something I have really learned over the last few weeks because, when you're on a team, you are not just playing for yourself and it's important to lift others up."

New team, new city. Proud of him.

Congratulations to Parmida Kalali, headed to Rockhurst University. NCAA Division II, Great Lakes Valley Conference.

Parmida talked to more schools than most players I've worked with. Over 20. That's not indecision, that's diligence. Location, budget, fit, she filtered through more variables than most families ever get to, because she wasn't willing to guess.

That kind of process takes real patience. It's slower, and it's harder to explain to friends who committed in week two. But it's how you end up somewhere that actually fits instead of somewhere that was just first.

She's joining a program that just won its first conference title in school history and made the NCAA Sweet 16. Good timing for a player who did this much homework.

So proud of this one. Go Hawks.

Congratulations to Mateo Gil, headed to Colorado College. NCAA Division III.

Here’s a fun one. Mateo is a Brooklyn kid who spent most of the process looking at Northeast schools, close to home, exactly where you’d expect. Then came the plot twist. He ended up across the country in Colorado Springs.

And here’s the part I love: Mateo made that connection himself. He stayed open, took initiative, and found a school that wasn’t on the original map at all.

That’s a lesson worth sharing. The best fit isn’t always where you’re looking when you start. Sometimes it’s a place you’d never have considered. Colorado College is an excellent academic school with a tennis program on the rise, they just won their first conference title and made their first NCAA tournament in program history. Mateo’s joining something good at the right moment.

So proud of this one.

🔦 Player Spotlight | Ava Penez 🇫🇷🎾

🇫🇷➡️🇺🇸 The adventure has begun! Ava arrived in Sumter, South Carolina, on August 16 and started classes the very next day at USC Sumter. Just a few days in, she’s already shared great first impressions about both school and tennis 🙌🇺🇸

🎓🎾 Two Paths. One Journey. The right-hander from Le Cannet, France plans to pursue Marine Science while continuing to develop her aggressive, speed-driven game.

After speaking with 8–10 programs, including four-year NCAA and NAIA schools, Ava deliberately chose the community college pathway. Her plan: two years at USC Sumter, then transfer her credits and complete the final two years of her bachelor’s degree at a four-year university 🎓📈

🗣️ Ava on why she chose USC Sumter:

“The coach immediately understood my goals. I want to use these two years to improve my tennis as much as possible and then transfer to a strong university where I can continue competing and finish my degree in Marine Science.

USC Sumter has a Top-15 nationally ranked women’s tennis program, and the coach really believes in my potential and wants to prepare me for that next step. I also loved the team atmosphere after speaking with some of the girls.

Being in South Carolina and close to the beach was another important factor because of my interest in Marine Science. My agent Nic also lived in South Carolina and spoke very highly of the area.

For me, USC Sumter felt like the perfect first step toward my bigger goals.”

That’s the value of the community college pathway: develop for two years, create new opportunities, then transfer and finish your bachelor’s degree — all within the same four-year journey 🎾🎓

Congratulations, Ava! Welcome to Sumter! 🙌🇺🇸

🔦 Player Spotlight | Lucas Corradi 🇨🇭🎾

🇨🇭➡️🇺🇸 A new chapter begins! Lucas arrived in Harrogate, Tennessee last Thursday to begin his journey at Lincoln Memorial University, competing for the Railsplitters in NCAA Division II ✈️🇺🇸

He started classes three days ago, and the first impressions couldn’t be better—Lucas told us he’s really enjoying both classes and practices and is settling in well 🙌

🎓🎾 Two Paths. One Journey. The 19-year-old left-hander from Neuchâtel will combine Sports Science with college tennis, with the long-term goal of working in strength & conditioning.

Lucas has made impressive progress since starting his recruiting journey with us a year ago, climbing from around UTR 10.7 to 11.26. His results include a 7–6, 6–3 victory over a UTR 12+ player ranked #95 in Switzerland 📈

🗣️ Lucas on why he chose LMU:

“I was in contact with around a dozen NCAA D1, D2 and top NAIA programs, but LMU stood out. I developed a great connection with the coach, and getting to know the European and French-speaking players really helped me feel part of the team.

I also wanted an ambitious program. LMU has progressed from around the Top 50 nationally to the Top 35 and then the Top 15. Combined with the incredible indoor and outdoor tennis facilities and a strong Sports Science program, it simply felt like the right fit for me.” 🔵⚪️

Congratulations, Lucas! We wish you every success on the court and in the classroom 👊

Welcome to Harrogate! 🇺🇸

🔦 Player Spotlight | Emil Remsted 🇩🇰🎾

🇩🇰➡️🇺🇸 A new school, the same coach, and a new chapter! Four days ago, Emil Remsted has officially arrived at Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina, after transferring from Wingate University.

🎓🎾 Two Paths. One Journey. Originally from Copenhagen, Denmark, Emil came to the U.S. in 2025 to combine high-level college tennis with a degree in Business. After a strong freshman season at Wingate, his journey now continues at Catawba.

Currently sitting at 11.4 UTR, Emil has made significant progress since arriving in the U.S. He started his freshman year around the high-10 / 11 UTR level and developed into an important contributor for Wingate, picking up some strong wins along the way 🎾

But what makes this transfer particularly special is the story behind it. After Emil’s first season with Coach Cabana at Wingate, Coach Cabana accepted the head coaching position at Catawba. Emil believed in the relationship they had built and in the direction of the program — and decided to follow his coach to Salisbury. New School. Same Coach. New Chapter 🤩🔥

Emil has already completed his first practices and started classes at Catawba, and he’s excited about the opportunity ahead: continuing to improve, pushing his level even higher, and helping his new team compete for big things 💪

The ambition remains the same — keep developing as a player and as a person, compete at the highest level possible, and see just how far his tennis can take him 📈🎾

🤝 Different opportunities, one goal: finding the right fit athletically, academically, and personally. Sometimes the right fit is not only about the school — it’s also about the people you trust to help you develop.

Congratulations, Emil! We wish you an amazing new chapter at Catawba and every success on the court and in the classroom 🙌

Welcome to Salisbury — Chapter Two of your American journey starts now 🇺🇸

🔦 Player Spotlight | Ole Christensen 🇩🇪🎾

🇩🇪➡️🇺🇸 A dream becomes reality! Just two days ago, Ole Christensen arrived in Cleveland, Mississippi. Yesterday marked the start of his first full week in the U.S. and a new chapter at Delta State University ✈️🇺🇸

🎓🎾 Two Paths. One Journey. Ole’s goal was clear: combine high-level college tennis with a bachelor degree in Exercise Science and minor in Sport Psychology while competing at the NCAA Division II level.

An 18-year-old left-hander from Germany, Ole brings an aggressive and powerful baseline game. When he began his recruiting process a year ago, his UTR was 10.1. Today, he stands at 10.7, reflecting the progress and hard work he has put into his game 💪🎾

🗣️ Ole on why he chose Delta State:

“I spoke with around ten universities across NCAA Division II, NAIA, and community colleges. Playing NCAA Division II tennis was one of my main goals, and I’m really happy that this dream is now becoming reality at Delta State.

What really stood out was the ambition of the program. The coaching staff wants to develop Delta State into a Top 20 NCAA Division II program nationally, and I wanted to be part of a team with big goals. Academically, after speaking with people in the Exercise Science department, I also felt really excited about the program. Delta State simply felt like the right fit for me, both athletically and academically.”

Ole’s long-term goal is to continue developing throughout college and eventually pursue opportunities on the ITF/ATP Tour 📈

Different opportunities, one goal: finding the right fit athletically, academically, and personally 🤝

Congratulations, Ole! We wish you an unforgettable college experience and every success on the court and in the classroom 🙌

💥 Player Spotlight | Kilian Kok 🇨🇭🎾

🇨🇭➡️🇺🇸 After arriving in Fairmont, West Virginia, a few days ago, Kilian began his first full week in America yesterday, officially starting an exciting new chapter at Fairmont State University ✈️

🎓🎾 Two paths. One journey. For Kilian, finding the right university meant finding a place where Civil Engineering and high-level tennis could grow side by side.

A Swiss R1 player ranked #238 nationally, Kilian brings an aggressive, forward-moving game built around his one-handed backhand, strong net game, physical conditioning, and competitive mindset 🔥

🗣️ Kilian on why he chose Fairmont State:

“I had interest and calls with NCAA Division I, Division II and NAIA programs, but Fairmont State felt like the best overall fit. I connected really well with the coach and, after speaking with players on the team, loved the family atmosphere. I also spoke with people from the Civil Engineering department and was really excited by the academic program.

The location played a big role too. I come from Neuchâtel, surrounded by a lake and mountains, and Fairmont has a similar environment. It made it feel a little more like home, even thousands of kilometers away.” 🏔️🌊

Kilian will also join Keagan 🇲🇾, another player from our agency who has already spent two years at Fairmont State—meaning two of our student-athletes will now represent the Fighting Falcons together 🦅🤝

Beyond college, Kilian hopes to continue developing toward the professional level while building a future in engineering, with an interest in environmental sustainability and renewable energy 📈🌱

🤝 Different paths, one goal: finding the right fit academically, athletically, financially, and personally.

Congratulations, Kilian! We wish you an unforgettable college experience and every success on the court and in the classroom 🙌

Welcome to Fairmont—your American journey has officially begun 😍🇺🇸
