Creating game plans for life

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

As the 2024/25 season comes to a close, we say a heartfelt farewell to our 20-year-olds who have left it all on the ice for the Columbia Valley Rockies.

Kobe Mason: Our fearless captain, who wore the “C” with pride and dedication. After three incredible seasons with us since 2022/23, his leadership, grit, and work ethic set the tone for our team.

Teo Fath: Assistant captain and the voice behind Tape it with Teo, he brought energy both on and off the ice. With 100+ games as a Rockie over three seasons, he was a steady presence in the locker room and a leader our younger guys looked up to.

Jonah Fournier: A local talent from Canal Flats, Jonah returned for the playoff push, closing out his junior career exactly where he started, with his hometown team. His commitment and heart will always be remembered.

These three embodied what it means to be a Rockie: passion, perseverance, and a deep love for the game. Their impact won’t be forgotten, and we know they’ll continue to succeed in whatever comes next.

To all our 20s graduating from junior hockey this year, we encourage you to connect with our partner, @nextshiftnetwork . Andrea and her team provide invaluable resources to help elite athletes navigate life after sport. Visit nextshiftnetwork.ca to learn more.

Once a Rockie, always a Rockie. Thank you, Kobe, Teo, and Jonah! 💙🧡

“Through this Together.”

That's the message Salve Regina Men's Ice Hockey put forward with their 4th Annual Mental Health Awareness Night. It was a pleasure working with the team on this great event, raising money and awareness for Newport Mental Health’s mission to improve the lives of those who live, work, and study in Newport County by providing the highest quality, recovery-oriented, evidence-based, and integrated mental health and substance use care.

To celebrate the thrilling overtime victory, we put together this hype video to show off the game and how much this mission means to the team, to us, and to the community!

A huge thank you to @nosolobrand and @nextshiftnetwork for coming out to support this event.

Can't wait to do it again next year!
