Being a gun owner and 2A advocate goes beyond simply exercising your rights. It means developing the skills to back them up. The SPARC Series is a great opportunity to put your marksmanship to the test and become a more capable shooter.

Beyond the shooting itself, it’s also a fantastic opportunity to network, build friendships, and connect with like-minded individuals in the 2A community.

Two weeks ago I had a blast attending @sparc_series finale two day match. It was a fun and challenging course of fire that culminated into the ultimate test of your marksman skills throughout the season. I finished off 4th in the match and 2nd over the season in the GP division. There is still A lot of gap between where I am now and 1st place spot but I’m excited to slowly crawl my way up next season.

Huge thanks to:
- @nextshotprecision for being a title sponsor and being one of the best shops in the valley to outfit your rifle and gear for these matches.
- @deadairsilencers for being a series sponsor and providing a generous prize table contribution
- @phantomdefense.co for the consistent and affordable match ammunition throughout the season
- @sparc_series and the RO’s for a successful season and finale.

12.5 bolt action chamberd in .223 - @nextshotprecision makes some of the sickest builds I've seen.

Send us a photo and we'll make you some stickers!

Can’t believe it was already a week ago, but the @sparc_series finale was THE best match I have attended yet. Huge shout out to @hdean20 and @alex_utahshooters for making this whole thing possible. It has been an awesome 2026 season.

Overall I am happy with my performance and have some things to take back with me and work on improving. I was blessed to be in Super Squad 5 💪🏼💪🏼 shoutout to all you guys. Go shoot and train with your homies. It’s the best thing you can do.

I also want to say thanks to all the sponsors that donated in some way to help this match and entire series. You guys are awesome. Go support the brands and shops that support shooters. I’m pretty excited to try out a new can from @deadairsilencers

Can’t forget to thank @thelost_cameraman for capturing all these amazing moments. He is a true artist. Go check out his work.

@sparc_series season 2026 has come to an end, and I’m so glad I continue to meet such amazing people from the shooting community. Many of you have become fast friends and I truly appreciate the friendship and community competitive shooting has given me.

@darcybangerter is the best support system. Literally could not do it without her support in this.

I love seeing new shooters come out, and rapidly improve. I love learning from other shooters and helping where I can.

This fast moving format is unforgiving. One mistake costs you dearly with the level of shooters who come to the matches.

You guys are animals out there. Let’s run it back next year.

Massive thanks to @deadairsilencers, @nextshotprecision, @stealth_additive_works, @morningstar_designs_ and many many other series sponsors for supporting. I literally can’t tag enough people from the squad photos.

@hdean20 @alex_utahshooters thanks boys.

Here are some match photos that I’ve really liked this year.

I shoot comps to get better. I film myself to see what I am doing wrong. I ask questions and buy gear with the purpose of getting faster and more accurate.

I am aslo a cheapskate, so when I learned I could shoot the COF for cheap, and hang out with shooters like @point22lr @hdean20 I figured that was a good deal.

My @sparc_series match wasn't good. I had all the wrong data in my calculator(due to @nextshotprecision silent but deadly match last month). I was put into positions I have never considered before. And I forgot my bolt catch on almost every stage.

But the ROs got to ask hunter all about how he would do things. We talked and gamed together. We practiced on props before we shot. Our scores weren't being recorded so we got to really focus on learning for a whole day. Then, I had two days to watch a hundred shooters do the same thing, and I timed all of them. I saw up close how great shooters run a stage. I saw them check their DOPE, I heard them planning, I got gassed out by their cans. I started seeing things that no youtube video can teach you.

If you just go to look cool at matches, I got a @skiligear bag from the boys at next shot for ROing, and that thing is cool as hell.

So yeah I'm sure no ome is reading anymore, but go sign up to RO. You'll learn a lot, and might get some killer gear, too.
