I remember the first time my mom said those words.

“They have been born into the world, and they cannot go back. Do your best and leave the rest to God.”

I was overwhelmed — trying to balance work, homeschool, and motherhood and wondering if I was doing enough.

But her words stopped me.
They reminded me that motherhood isn’t about control; it’s about trust.

Just like Saint Monica, who couldn’t shield her son Augustine from every wrong turn but never stopped praying.

That’s what faith in motherhood looks like:
Doing your best with love, and surrendering the rest to God.

For every mom who prays more than she speaks, may your quiet faith move mountains.

Tag your mom besties ❤️
