WE’RE PLATINUM WINNERS! 🏆🎉🦁

A huge congratulations to Fairfield City Council’s Major Events Team for taking home Platinum at the 2026 Western Sydney Tourism Awards!

The team was recognised in the Events Campaign – Council category for their incredible work bringing Australia’s first National Lion Dance Competition to life as part of the 25th anniversary Cabramatta Moon Festival in 2025.

Bringing together 17 elite lion dance teams from across Australia, the competition put Cabramatta on the national stage, celebrating our City’s rich cultural heritage and attracting visitors from near and far.

This award is a wonderful recognition of the creativity, passion and hard work that goes into delivering unforgettable events for our community. 💜

A massive congratulations to our Major Events Team and everyone involved in making this historic event a success! 🫶

Apparently it's my birthday again! 🥳

This year I celebrated by gathering a group of friends and playing Commander. Many thanks to @hobbycollectorsaustralia for having us! 🃏

I wanted to feel rich, so I brought my three decks that generate Treasure tokens:
🐲 Smaug the Magnificent
🔧 Iron Man, Titan of Innovation
🏴‍☠️ Edward Kenway

Don't ask me how many Treasure tokens I generated during the day; I lost count. 😅

Thank you to everyone who got me a present! 🥰

A bit more lore in the lead up to my shows 💙 (tix in bio!)
I present to youuuu…a carousel of how the single art for GEMINII came to be. So so so grateful to have had @ngowyn work his design magic on it - the final result honestly…ate. Down.

We started off trying to get both the ‘G’ & ‘♊️’ together in one symbol to represent the track.

My inspo came from the single art for ‘Rewind’ by @kelela (BANGERRRRR) & ‘Alright’ by @victoriamonet (club anthem honestly) and the typography/styling that you see on some Blaxploitation movie posters à la Brown Sugar (see also: Super Fly, Foxy Brown)🤎

I just looooove the organic/curvy/wavy shapes and really wanted to have that in the artwork.

Another earlier draft…gorgina.

This is where the final form really started to take shape - trying out a couple different optionzzzz 👀

👀👀👀

WARM WARM VERY WARM

HOT HOT HOT HOT

Ooooh AND we got a gorgeous, chrome RICCCHHH animated version. Yum. @ngowyn - is a master.
