MEDICINE FESTIVAL

One of my highlights by far during this summer of sharing music was @medicinefestival

Transformative is not an adjective I dare to use often, but here I felt it.

Right at the very beginning, one of the stage managers told us: “This is not just a festival, it’s a 5 day long ceremony that we all are going through together” - and oh, how deeply I got to experience that. 🍃

In the first days, amidst the worst heatwaves and droughts that Europe has ever seen, I came down with a really nasty flu and sore throat. For 3 out of the 4 times I sung on stage, I had almost no voice.

While the festival had to deal with a fire ban and water scarcity, my own inner critic came out very strong during those days, testing my spirit. I went through a hell lot of self-doubt and wondered what and if my presence even contributed.

Among the withered landscapes, songs for the waters where shared abundantly. Where usually there were fire ceremonies, we prayed to the waters instead.

Against my own inner drought & critics, I am glad I pushed through and ended up sharing a Water Prayer that I learned from my Moondance lineage in the Hanuman Project Forza Feminina set on the Goddess Fyre stage. 🌹🔥

Finally, on the last day of the festival, the clouds graced us with coolness and sprinkles of rain. Thanks to all the medicines and remedies that my friends shared with me abundantly, that’s also when I got to be back in my full power and joy and receiving the blessings 🌞

It felt equal to me like the last part of a ceremony, after the shadow work when all pieces start coming together, and bliss takes place where hard work was present.

Whew. What teachings!

Thank you Medicine Festival for being truly one of a kind festival. Thank you for all the wisdom keepers who held down the field with us - so many wisdom keepers from around the world united. Huge gratitude the epic festival team with some of the biggest hearts and most genuine smiles I’ve ever met. ♥️

THE MAHAVIDYAS 𓆗 Online Immersion October 10 - December 16
Join us for a transformative 10-week online immersion into the profound teachings of the 10 Mahavidyas weaving the teachings of classical Non-Dual Tantra into our everyday lives.

Dualistic philosophies that focus on purification and levels of spiritual attainment can leave us in a never ending state of striving or mistaking self improvement for liberation. Non-dual Tantra (Shiva-Shakti worship) on the other hand, points to all experiences as entry points to awakening: “The path by which we fall, is the path by which we rise”. The Tantrika welcomes all of life, giving way to the pulsating awareness beneath experience, recognising that we are already whole and an expression of divinity.

The path of the Mahvidyas, the 10 wisdom Goddesses, opens us to radical unravelling of the way we have been taught to see the world. Each deity acts as unique focal points for deep understanding and contemplation. Each an individual access point or portal to Self-recognition, revealing hidden aspects of ourself, opening shadows buried deep within our body and psyche structures, erasing the illusion of separateness into wholeness. This direct path catapults us out of duality and limited seeing of good/bad, right/wrong, and into seeing all aspects of ourselves, including our pain as an access point to the divine. Through the integration of somatic practices and non-dual Tantrik philosophy, we engage in a transformative alchemy of embodiment, exploring our bodies as microcosms of the macrocosm. We will investigate ancient scriptures that serve as codes and maps, leading us to freedom within our cells, organs, systems, and energy lines.

The Mahavidyas also point to the cycle of Kundalini Shakti and the awakening process itself. They guide us into relationship with the awakening feminine force as we learnt to navigate her ebbs and flows, expansions and contractions, her cycles and seasons. They give us great support as we ride the sometimes turbulent waves of the awakening journey.

This is an opportunity to actually integrate the Non-Dual teachings into LIFE, as we immerse into awakening through life itself 🪷

This embodied ceremony of the self is a way to open up space for grief and stagnancy to move through the wombspace and pelvic bowl. When we open up to the grief that is stored here, we open up to receive the outpouring of love that has been trapped, and not able to flow through us or be received.

Small snippet of the third class in our Chakra Sadhana, the powerful MANIPURA! What a blast for all of us sharing high prana in the mountains of Finca SitaRam.

This specific class really made us face the fundamental questions "Am I ready to commit to my highest potential, here and now?" and "Do I love myself enough to play in the big league, get rid of the self pity, diminishing stories and awaken to my greatest potential?"

All of us got to experience this untamed, infinite dormant energy in us and realize the self-imposed limitations and bondages. This kind of class is meant to make us face this unfiltered reality and the choice of continuing playing small or accepting and embracing our greatness, in whichever shape and form it may be.
