À l’occasion de la Fashion Week à Paris, la galerie Arts d’Australie • Stéphane Jacob a le plaisir de s’associer à Australian Fashion Rooms, l’initiative internationale de l’Australian Fashion Council dédiée à la promotion de la mode, de l’art et du design australiens. Pour cette première édition parisienne, organisée à la Galerie Poggi, à deux pas du Centre Pompidou, la galerie prête plusieurs œuvres d’artistes australiens qui viennent dialoguer avec les créations de douze maisons de mode australiennes réunies pour leur marché SS27. Parmi les œuvres présentées figure notamment celle de Niah Juella McLeod, dont la pratique s’inscrit dans la richesse et la diversité de la création contemporaine australienne. Nous sommes heureux de contribuer à cette rencontre entre les scènes artistiques et créatives australiennes et le public international de la Fashion Week à Paris. 📍 Galerie Poggi

For this first Parisian edition, held at the Galerie Poggi, a stone’s throw from the Centre Pompidou, the gallery is lending several works by Australian artists, which will engage in a dialogue with the creations of twelve Australian fashion houses gathered for their SS27 collection. Among the works on display is one by Niah Juella McLeod, whose practice reflects the richness and diversity of contemporary Australian creativity. A Byron Bay fashion showroom has quietly turned itself into an art gallery for the month. 👀 Until 26 September, @arcaa_movement's Banksia Drive showroom is home to Formed: Women in Art — an exhibition bringing together work by local female artists and makers, with pieces available to purchase and take home. The idea came from Arcaa wanting to create space for the women shaping the creative community around them — bringing their different practices and perspectives together in one place and introducing locals to the people actually making the work. A Night For ( Women In Art )   To launch Formed, we welcomed the artists, their friends and families, alongside our own Arcaa community, into our showroom, turned gallery. A night of admiring the work, good music, very good food and plenty of good vibes. Photo evidence of a very good night. We can’t begin to express how grateful we are to have the opportunity to showcase these incredible women and their work in our showroom throughout September. See more on the journal. @arcaa_movement @gemmastanford what an honour it is to have such an incredible brand in our community. To show up for female artists in such a bold way is a testament to how wholesome and wholehearted you are, not just as a brand but as a team of women championing other women. No stone went unturned to celebrate us last night and it’s a deep pleasure to be a part of this group show, Thankyou! A big congratulations to fellow artists @niahmcleod @hattiezampa.art @shopjedda @tahunacollective you are all divine women and create wonderful work, I look forward to our paths crossing again soon. And a big warm thankyou hug to all my amazing mates who made the trip to come and support me, I love you. The show will remain in the @arcaa_movement showroom for the next month, pop by and check out the art and the beautiful garments and showroom xx
