Today I leave for two years to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints in Morristown, New Jersey. 🕊️

I’ve spent a long time preparing for this moment, and now that it’s here, all I feel is gratitude. Grateful for a Savior who makes this kind of service possible. Grateful for the chance to set aside my own plans for two years and give everything I have to loving and serving people I haven’t even met yet.

None of this happens without the people who got me here, my family who taught me what faith looks like in everyday life, my friends who’ve supported me even when they didn’t fully understand why I was doing this, and everyone who’s prayed for me, encouraged me, or just showed up. I carry every bit of that with me.

I don’t know exactly what these two years will hold, but I know they’ll change me. I’m ready to work hard, love people, and represent something bigger than myself.

See you in two years. Until then Morristown, here I come. 💙
