Ch-ch-ch-changes! ⚡

Well, here we are. Another evolution!

If you’ve been around a while, you’ve seen us through a few transformations. From 9 Main to 9 Mobile, through a pandemic, to The Po Cafe, and now The Cutler Collective.

But looking back, it all makes perfect sense.

The Po was never just a café. It was a gathering place for neighbors, artists, writers, musicians. We opened exhibiting and selling art. We organized events, celebrated poetry, and made some extraordinary connections.

One of those connections began during Washington’s first annual Poetry Month, when I reached out to a poet named Robert L Arnold (@defiance13_). A poem became a reading. A reading became a friendship and a collaboration. And that collaboration became a couple books, with another on its way from a major publisher.

Meanwhile, the art never stopped. From my family’s first Art Walk at Flirtation Farms to the walls of The Po, our fall Art Walk on the lawn, and most recently an unfinished Bethlehem barn transformed into a gallery in six days, the ideas just kept coming.

When we closed The Po, I told you it wasn’t the end.

I meant that.

Welcome to The Cutler Collective.

We’re building a creative business around art, books, exhibitions, publishing, and collaborations that bring people and ideas together.

You’ll still see some familiar faces, the farm, the flowers, and probably a little bit of everything in our stories. But this page is now home to the work of The Cutler Collective and the creative people who make it possible.

To everyone who’s been part of this journey, thank you. And to the artists, writers, and dreamers out there, we’re just getting started.

Same spirit. New chapter.

Stay with us.

Truly honored but unexpected to say the least. The Po Cafe was nominated for one of the most prestigious culinary awards in the state! We’re in the People’s Choice category- not just cafes and not just our county- statewide restaurants!

Now, we could really use your vote. So gather up a group- your office mates, team, kitchen crew, class, or family- You can only vote once per email so it won’t take up too much of your time.

VOTING LINK IS IN THE BIO or in my story daily.

We’d be over the moon to head to the casino in December to win this “Crazie” CT Restaurant Association award.

Together, let’s see what we can do.
