RECAP: JULY 2025

LILY LANGLEY: THE CROCODILE

We kicked off our first exhibition in July with none other than Lily Langley, aka @motormouthcomics, with her solo exhibition ‘The Crocodile’.

The crocodile is always there. Sometimes you see him, sometimes he sinks beneath the surface, but be assured he is watching. — Motormouth Comics presents a collection of terrible beasts and beloved airheads.

Opening & closing event live performances: @nicechinaband @lonelyskeletonmusic @gvsherband @problem_green

Having a real pinch me moment for my music. It’s been 5 years of non stop writing and yet no releases… SORRY! but It’s something that’s always brought me a lot of happiness in my life. Honestly so thankful to have met @harrisonsarinaa who’s been making stuff for @nicechinaband in the background of our busy lives and meeting my amazing friends and band fam @gusherband which has allowed me to have the opportunity to play live again. While being a photographer for bands is fun, I do miss the side of performance and to share my music with people that might take in a line or two when I play. Big smoke has brought so many highlights during my mid 20’s. Good on ya Sydney, was starting to feel very stagnant here.

If you got this far reading, thank you. Appreciating every creative that’s worked alongside me during this phase of my life. And there is so much more to come!!!!

I present to you…

SAGE AND THE RIOT.

@harper_bennell and I did a 24 hour project. To write, produce and create a music video in 24 hours. We filmed the clip, and it will be live tomorrow.

Making things has always been a whole process during a ‘certain time frame’. So I felt that creating something under pressure makes you forget about those moments when you start to pick apart your project.

It’s a rough one, but a fun one. We hope you like it. See you soon In a couple of hours 🖤
