We were so grateful for these two lovely people who came and spent the weekend with us @hillcountryguesthouses Friday we hit the 290 Wine Road discovering the best in Texas wine. There was magic in the air and now we are a part of their early journey of love and life together #texashillcountrywinetours

An article from a travel magazine said that walking through Johnson City was like “Tuscany without the crowds.”

We thought you might like a little taste of a stroll down Main Street.... you’ll find plenty to see, taste and enjoy, including:

A host of cute shops in the Old Lumberyard, including @junebloomlavender, @campbubbatx, @hillcountryicecream and @proofandcooperlumberyard
A feast of hands-on learning at @sciencemilltx
A glass of wine at @vinoviumtx
A perfect stop for coffee and a snack at @johnsoncitycoffeeco and @westmainstreatery

Great news - there’s even more to explore beyond Main Street - and we want you here to see it. What will you make your first stop?

@travelandleisure recently featured some Johnson City favorites in an article about how our town is putting itself on the map as an authentically cool Hill Country hangout.

Too many great spots in the area to list them all, but check out a few mentioned in the article…

250 years of American independence doesn't come around twice, and we aren't letting it pass quietly 🥂

Nine stops + one legendary bar crawl. Here's what awaits at your Vinovium stop:

★ A flatbread special (in collaboration with our friends at @texasiberico)
★ Texas wine on tap
★ House-made sangria
★ Full kitchen menu
★ Amy's Ice Cream

This is what happens when a small town decides to do something big, and we couldn't be prouder to be part of it. Come be part of it too.

📅 Saturday, July 4th | Open 10am-10pm
📍 102 N Ave G, Johnson City, TX

July 4 is a perfect time for some old-fashioned Americana right here in Johnson City, especially with America turning 250 this year. Come out to enjoy our small-town parade full of hometown heroes, lawn games and a foam party at Memorial Park, a bar crawl through downtown, a vendor market on the square, our street dance with live music from Klappenbach Road, and our fireworks show to close out the night. Plus Chicken Sh!+ Bingo, pottery painting and popsicles to beat the heat, and lots of other fun cooked up by our local businesses and restaurants.

Tag the friend you want to bring with you to Johnson City this weekend!

250 years of freedom — surely you're not spending July 4th on the couch?

Worry not, since downtown JCTX is throwing a bar crawl for the ages, and Vinovium is one of your stops. Our doors open earlier so we can celebrate this milestone longer 😉

✨ Saturday, July 4th
✨ Tasting room hours: 10am-10pm
✨ Downtown Johnson City, TX

Visit us and your other favorite local spots, find the stars to win prizes, and raise a glass to 250 years of independence, Texas hill country style.

We're cooking up something special for the day so stay tuned. In the meantime, mark your calendars and round up your crew. See ya then, neighbors!

Y'all already know I don't mind a little drive if it means I get to have some great beers. I had missed the last few Zwanze Days from @brasseriecantillonofficiel, but I made sure to drive up to Johnson City to check out how @niceneasytx did Zwanze Day. Come take a look.
