31 Organ & Bassline House Bangers for 31 days.
28. I had to place another one of this man’s productions in the selection this month, it would be criminal not too!!😎
Released in 2005, ‘What’s Luv’ was another big production from the likes of Neil Rumney. A.K.A DBX, Trotters, Summer Junkies etc, etc, etc, etc.😂
The amount of alias’ this man has as a producer was phenomenal, hence why he’s most probably regarded as the king of our sub-genres.👑🔊
All hail Neil Rumney!🙌

28 4x4 and Bassline bangers for 28 days.
12. U.S.F. Ft VADER (DJ Q Mix) was released in 2007, and comes under the ‘Bassline’ bracket of genres.
Featuring the talented vocals from one of Birminghams finest VADER.
He spits his bars effortlessly along this Bassline track, having dipped his toes pon’ the Bassline scene in the 2000’s, making that crossover from his preferred genre of grime.
@vadervades81 was a staple part of the Brum grime scene, and still is to this day. Having countless releases on various labels, along with performing worldwide on the stage at clubs and events alongside some of grimes biggest artists, also being hugely respected within his scene.
@djqmusic needs no introduction, having already mentioned the 1XTRA DJ in this series, Q continues to support the scene in its entirety, also living and breathing ‘Bassline’ in all its forms.
Hol’tite the man’dem on this one, turn it up full,😮‍💨🔊🔥 careful of the speeding tickets though!😂

28 4x4 & Bassline Banger for 28 days.
7 This one’s for the man dem’, and a straight up certified RIDDIM.😮‍💨
More 2 Da Floor was a key label back in the 2000’s, pushing the 4x4 and Bassline scene from early.
Released in 20006, ‘Dirty’ was produced by @djqmusic . Straight from up norf’, Q’s been an integral part of the scene, holding his 1 XRTA slot he’s pushed 4x4 & Bassline into the mainstream, to play a part of what it’s become today.
Dirty has that 16bit sound from the late 80’s early 90’s, coupled with the sharp hats and snares and super low end bass, it’s a genre defining track for that period.
Hol’tite the man dem, this one’s for the motor!😮‍💨🔥🔥🔥👊

6. Seeing as it’s Friday it’s only right to kick off the weekend with a straight banger!!😮‍💨🔊🔥🔊
Having already mentioned @t2bassline last month with ‘Heartbroken’, this is another certified RIDDIM from one of the 🐐’s of Bassline production!🔥
‘Why’ was released in 2007 on Nocturnal Records, in collaboration with vocalists Sharnell and Denica.
It epitomises the sound for that era.
Dark gritty basslines, sharp hats and snares, coupled with the vocal to boot, make this one certified in Bassline history and a real crowd pleaser!
Turn it up, hit save and share, because this one will blow ya’ speakers.😮‍💨🔥🔥🔥

Wideboys Feat. Shaznay Lewis - Daddy O (2008)

The Wideboys brought the heat and kept that fire going with this sizzling speed garage club banging collaboration featuring flowing vocals from Shaznay Lewis!!

Wideboys are a classic UK garage duo, Eddie Craig and Jim Sullivan, who exploded out of late-’90s London with bass-heavy, feel-good club anthems. Rising through pirate radio and packed dancefloors, they blended underground garage energy with mainstream appeal!

Tracks like “Daddy O” and “Sambuca” became instant club staples, while their remixes for artists such as Craig David and Mis-Teeq cemented their reputation as hit-makers. Fun, loud, and built for peak-time chaos, Wideboys helped define the golden era of UK garage!!! 🔊🔥

The hard hitting 4x4 rolling drums, a bassline that slaps and those naughty vocals, another one for the garage/bassline junkies out there, a CertifiedClassic!! ❤️🔥🔥🔥

31 Speed Garage, Organ, Bassline House, Bassline and UKG bangers for 31 days!
28. This track is outright cemented in Birmingham history, having cemented itself firmly, straight out of Brum!
Bass Collective - ‘Cruel Summer’ was an instant hit on the underground movement in Brum during the 2000’s.😮‍💨
Produced by 2 of the most genuine guys you’d ever meet, The Hinsley Brothers were already part of the Birmingham club circuit holding weekly residencies in numerous venues, playing House and Speed Garage sounds in the late 90’s at clubs such as Bakers, Hush, The Steering Wheel and Bambu. Speed Garage has always been a massive part of Brums underground since the mid 90’s in countless clubs like Tin-Tins, The Wheel, Dusk Til Dawn, Genesis, West End Bar, Arca Bar, Kudos and too many more to mention. It really was and STILL IS a huge part of Brums underground sound, and wasn’t just in one club.
The brothers turned their hands to production during the 2000’s and also had other alias’, one of which was Twin Town. (They’re Twins!😎)
‘Cruel Summer’ was a track which was played nationwide and the original track was a chart hit for ‘Bananarama’ in 1983. (YES, 1983! 😮)
It became a top 10 hit in the UK & US and also featured in the film ‘Karate Kid’.😎
With its classic organ sound and other attributes which were true and synonymous to the movement, this one tore dance floors a new one in Birmingham,🔥 then quickly spread up and down the country, still getting plays in today’s scene. Which is a testament to the remix in itself.😎
This one’s a persy and number 2 on my 2000’s Organ track favourites.🥈💚🔊🔥🔊

31 Speed Garage, Organ, Bassline House, 4x4, Bassline and UKG bangers for 31 days.
27. Dynamics -‘Take Me Away’ was born straight out of the steel city of Sheffield by a then young lad called Lee.
Lee worked in a record shop called ‘Reflex Records’ which was one of the main hubs for the scene where DJ’s, musicians and turntablists purchased their equipment and vinyl at that time/era.
A talented young producer who’s the brother of Curtis Gabriel, Lee had a few releases and then seemingly chucked it all in.🤷‍♂️
The Original vocal was written and sang by a lady called ‘Alison Williamson’ and featured on a track by ‘The Mix Factory’ released in 1992.
This underground remix was released in 2007 and was a big hit in the underground Speed Garage and Bassline House circuit UK wide.

31 Speed Garage, Bassline, Bassline House, Organ & UKG bangers for 31 days.
18. Another producer that imho had to be in the 31 was Dezz Jones aka @huxleymusic
This guy is an absolute don regarding music production and to this day, is still a heavyweight performing artist/producer/DJ within the UK house scene.🫡
‘What You Do’ was an underground remix of Michelle Narines original vocal, and this remix was released in 2004 on Birmingham based ‘Boogaloo Records’.
Dezz Jones (Huxley) is a UK House/UKG/Speed Garage producer hailing straight out of the capital London.
He first cut his teeth in production at a young age of around 18, self admittedly being quite bad at it, producing D’n’B. However where he did excel was when he moved on to House and garage, under one of his alias’ ‘Dezz Jones’. He released many a ‘Banger’ on the Speed Garage and UKG scene, but was massively underrated back then.
I personally hold him with high regard in that scene and era and he was one of my favourite producers and still have most of his tracks on vinyl.
He also goes under other alias’ such as Desert Storm, Desert Stormers, Huxley, HXU, Martinet, Michael Dodman, Mr. Mushrooms.
With the vocal delight of Michelle Narine, this track with its heavy, low end bass, uptempo drum pattern full of energy, and melodic piano riff make it a certified Speed Garage banger!😮‍💨🔥🔥🔥
Big up to Dezz Jones,🫡 never forgetting his roots and continuing his musical journey through the industry. 🔊👊
