Where do I begin?
Because really, this is the beginning. This last week has been the first chapter of Dented Halos and what an opening chapter it has been. I have found myself surrounded by incredible people who have poured their love, sweat and talents alongside me into the album and the tour. Huge huge thanks to my band Mike, John, Steven (Smack) and Eli for joining me on the road. It’s always incredible to share the stage with you boys. Thanks to the lovely guests we had Sheyna, Jody, Chris, Ryan and John for sharing their music with us. Thanks to Tania and Dawn at Hen House for helping me run the shows and particularly accommodating an incredible last show in Manchester last night. Thank you to Hannah and Gary for being our friendly merch people and holding the fort down. Thank you to Sophie Rose who lent her phenomenal vocals to both the album track and the live show for the past few nights. Thank you to all the venues, sound engineers and crew who make these shows possible. We have been very blessed with some really gorgeous spaces to put the Dented Halos tour in this year. Thanks to our lovely photographers Jimmy, Michelle and Nick for capturing some special moments.

And thank you to everyone who came out, bought a ticket, listened to the album, picked up some merch and spent their time with us. Independent live music is alive and kicking and you confirmed that this week by showing up in the way you did. Thank you for being part of chapter 1 of Dented Halos and making one hell of a chapter.

This was my first ever paste up. The first step on my paste up journey. I wonder how many there have been since then…or will come in the future. Pic taken by @nicholas.sumner Feb 2024. #nqmanchester #pasteupstreetart #pasteupartist #pasteup #wheatpasteart
