the end of an era
~
i look at this first photo a lot. i have no idea when it was actually taken or how old i was but, it is the only picture from early in my childhood that i can feel. i look at that kid and i can feel how happy he was. he went to a padres game that day and had the time of his life.

this sport has been the biggest fixture in my life for as long as i can remember. it was all i could think about and the only thing i wanted to do for so long. i gave everything to this sport and i am typing this feeling nothing but gratitude thinking about all the things i recieved as a result.

to all of the people that graced my life throughout this journey, thank you. you are the biggest reason i continued to keep playing year after year. this game has a way of pushing the right people into your life to support you and there are no words that could properly describe my gratitude for everyone i have had the privilege to know because of this game.

i feel like the luckiest person in the world to be able to make this final post. i'm truly at peace with the fact that my playing career is over and am super excited to enter the next chapter of my life. it truly was the ride of a lifetime.

And we are out 🎓 May 23’

Time flew by and I can’t believe it is time to move on to the next chapter of my life. Cheers to everyone I’ve met in the classroom and on the field. Thank you to my friends, family, and coaches for being there through it all. And most of all, thank you to my parents for supporting me and providing me with this opportunity. I will be graduating with a bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Management.

Come lei me this Saturday May 6th at the Hawaii Convention Center @ 12pm
