Out now! @rinzen ’s remix of my track “Sobrevive” featuring @juansonmio is finally here. I’ve admired Rinzen’s work for years, and I couldn’t be happier to have him on board for this remix. It’s truly an epic one! ♥️

We are excited to announce the @rinzen remix of @saintevieofficial “Sobrevive” with @juansonmio Out officially this Friday! Rinzen here 👋 I’ve been a longtime fan of Pablo’s music and was thrilled when he asked me to remix a song from his new album In many ways, I feel we are kindred musical spirits despite coming from different backgrounds: he from Mexico, myself from Los Angeles. The two of us share a deep sensibility for cinematic, emotional electronic music.
Personally, I’d been searching for the right song to follow up my deadmau5 remix with… I didn’t want to do something too obvious, but at the same time, I wanted to create a track with a similar emotional power to it. Something that felt just as epic. When Pablo sent me the stems for “Sobrevive”, I wrote the chords in the first 5 minutes and knew I had something special. The final production took a couple more months, but the result is a remix I am immensely proud of. A few days ago Pablo and I got to meet for the first time in Venice Beach where we took these photos. He told me my version sounds like something he himself might have made, which is a great compliment to a remix. We hope you enjoy it; it comes out officially this Friday.  Photos by @nicholaskhess PS: you can comment the word “Beatport” and I’ll send you the official pre-order link

Thank you to everyone who came out for another excellent @subtractmusic x @worklapresents collab featuring @dvs1hush. A true unicorn moment by the water, and one we’ll be thinking about for a long time. Big thank you to DVS1 for trusting us with a rare house set and for continuing to pave the way for the same things we care about — sound, curation, and respect for the people on the dancefloor. And thank you to @antontumas for setting the tone and curating this special space for us to gather. When the values align between artists, promoters, sound, and venue, something rare happens and we definitely experienced that magic last Sunday. Until our crews meet again ~ Subtract x WORK ___ 📸 @nicholaskhess #subtractonthepier #longbeachcalifornia #housemusiclovers
