☆| EERIE Anniversary | 7.3 | UNDER ZONE☆

EERIE is 2 years old! And what better way to celebrate, than with the sweatiest and sexiest gathering yet! This time in the UNDER ZONE, underground garage space in Brno.

When we started EERIE a little over 2 years ago, we had a very specific vision for the type of space and community we wanted to build and cultivate, but we never could have imagined so many of you constantly showing up and supporting us!

So in honor of this celebration, we’ve prepared an extra special line-up, split up into two stages, featuring:

DJ PERIODT @dj.periodt
MISHA JARU @michael_khcz
SWAGRINA @swagrinaseifertova
ZAZITECH @zazitech_
JARDABPM @jardabpm
ELLI2OT @elli2ot
URBN @urby_tomas_
SAMATAK @sam_kosina
DANOWSKI000 @dannytarkowski

Come celebrate with us!

Delighted to be part of the upcoming show “B7” at @the_ballery - so in case you missed the event last Friday, make sure to join me next week!
👁👁🎶🎶📸📸

The Ballery, Simon Williams invites you to our next open art salon event – B7

A sharing of visual and performing arts with a collective of Berlin based artists and friends.

Friday 21st February 2025
6-10pm

Everyone welcome

What brings people to work together? For The Ballery, it has been the impulse to form a collective of artists and performers who have stepped out of the main stream to follow their own personal path, and whose artistry comes from a keen observation of the world, as well as a strong and wide-ranged background.

Because all believe creation, whatever the medium, is deeply rooted in human experiences, the common wish is to lead the audience to actively live the performance more than merely watching a show.

Around director Simon Williams, The Ballery has gathered a group of artists coming from all parts of the world. Dance, music, visual arts or literature, each medium is an equally important part of a more global work.

SAT 15 FEB 8PM
IIII STUDIO NIGHT - BERLINALE SPECIAL
INVITES YOUNES MOHAMMADI - IMMERSIVE VIDEO INSTALLATION “BLINDERS” - WITH SOUNDS BY REDFEM (8PM-10PM)
ARTIST TALK (9:30PM)
PERFORMANCE BY NICHOLAS ROSE (9:45PM)
LINEUP. REDFEM / GOME / PENCASONICS
APERITIVO & TASTY BITES BY STUDIO CHEF (8PM-10PM)

BERLIN-BASED ARTIST YOUNES MOHAMMADI EMPLOYS ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TO MERGE DISCIPLINES—BRINGING TOGETHER FILM, ARCHITECTURE, AND GENERATIVE SYSTEMS TO CHALLENGE HOW WE SEE AND EXPERIENCE SPACE. HIS IMMERSIVE VIDEO INSTALLATION EXAMINES PERIPHERAL PERCEPTION—BOTH HUMAN AND ARTIFICIAL—THROUGH A FRACTURED, DISTORTED LENS. HIS WORK EXPLORES THE UNSTABLE BOUNDARIES OF VISION, WHERE CLARITY DISSOLVES INTO ABSTRACTION AND UNSEEN DETAILS EMERGE AT THE EDGES OF AWARENESS. PROJECTED ONTO SHIFTING SPATIAL SURFACES, THE INSTALLATION UNFOLDS AS A DYNAMIC INTERPLAY BETWEEN MOVEMENT, DISTORTION, AND RECOGNITION. THE COMBINED IMAGERY CREATES A LAYERED EXPERIENCE—WHERE PERSPECTIVES SHIFT, BODIES ARE DEFORMED, AND PERCEPTION ITSELF BECOMES AN EVOLVING NEGOTIATION BETWEEN HUMAN COGNITION AND MACHINE INTERPRETATION. THE INSTALLATION WILL BE UNDERLINED BY THE SOUND OF REDFEM, AN EMERGING PRODUCER AND DJ FROM LONDON, WHOSE SONIC TEXTURES HEIGHTEN THE IMMERSIVE INTERPLAY BETWEEN MOVEMENT, DISTORTION, AND PERCEPTION.
