We want our people to believe in the next initiative. They remember what happened to the last one. That’s an uncomfortable truth about leadership. When we ask people to commit, then quietly move on when things get difficult, we teach them to wait us out. “Let’s see how long this one lasts.” Perseverance matters because our follow-through shapes their willingness to believe again. We have to decide before we start that the time, discipline and sacrifice are part of the package. Especially during that stretch when the effort is real and the results haven’t caught up yet. That’s the Warrior Within in leadership: Purpose keeps us connected to why it matters. Positivity helps us see a way forward. Perseverance keeps us committed to the work. We’ll need to learn, adjust and overcome obstacles. Our people need to see us doing that alongside them. The kickoff is a promise. Perseverance is how we keep it. Thank you MCA Metro Washington and Dewalt for the opportunity to share the “Waking Up the Warrior Within” message at your fabulous Leadership Day! 📸 Photo credit: Nick Betson

The best contractor doesn’t always win. The one homeowners know, recognize, and trust does. That’s why we built the Local Authority Engine. We help home service companies combine consistent, high quality content with targeted advertising and a predictable lead system, so you’re not sitting around hoping referrals keep the schedule full. The goal is simple: make your business impossible to ignore and turn your company into the obvious choice in your market. If you’re a home service business in the Tri State area and you’re ready to generate more qualified opportunities and build a brand people recognize, comment “INFO” below and I’ll personally reach out to you. 📲
