i don’t really love my birthday. being another year older doesn’t excite me anymore, it rather serves as a reminder of just that, i’m getting older. and that’s scary.
this year though, i feel wholly grateful. there’s been times in my life i felt like i wouldn’t see my 20s, so being here now feels unreal.

thank you to everyone who’s ever played a special role in my life, i’m so motivated by you all to do great things this year. only a year left til we 21 baby 😝

recap

After a full year of consistent recording, my debut album ZODIAC is finally here. 8 tracks, told from the perspective of Yung Venom, who is the new wave Zodiac Killer. Literal blood, sweat, and tears have been put into this project and these songs truly means the world to me.
⌖
From endless nights writing, mixing, mastering, and recording, to pulling off sketchy video shoots with my team, I have never had so much fun with any singular project, and this will be a memory I will forever carry with me.
⌖
This album is most certainly not the end and I am just getting started. I have so much more in store soon for you all.

ZODIAC OUT NOW ON ALL PLATFORMS LINK IN BIO THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR LISTENING ⌖

ZODIAC is an 8-track concept album told through the persona of Yung Venom, the alter ego of multi-instrumentalist and multi-talented artist Ashtari, who is, the new age Zodiac Killer.

Fusing indie guitars, atmospheric synths, and evocative vocals with a distinct twist on Memphis hip hop, this album pushes genre boundaries while telling a dark, immersive story.
•
Written, recorded, and produced entirely by me, and supported by my team, @nick.bettner @carter_gavin23 and @alex_katzy ,this project represents a years worth of my best work.
Huge thanks to @yarsjoke for help making this track happen 🙏
