Szn 3, Trade 10!
…
Full Trade-
Phillies Acquire: Jarren Duran
Royals Acquire: Seiya Suzuki and Mitchell Sargent
…
Trade Details

RF Seiya Suzuki 33 89 B
CF Mitchell Sargent 20 60 A
LF Jarren Duran 31 92 A
…
JTakes: Phillies make a splash, but it is also a splash for the Royals. Jarren Duran is a 3 overall upgrade, and is 2 years younger than Seiya Suzuki. So it’s definitely an upgrade for the Phillies, but not super crazy or anything. Royals take the couple years older, couple overalls worse Seiya Suzuki, and also land the #8 overall prospect in the league, Mitchell Sargent. He still needs a couple years to develop, but he’s a good looking A pot. I think it’s a slight edge for the Royals in this deal, but the Phillies hope for a big season from Duran, a different one from the one they had last season and lost in FA.

-Red Sox (5) vs Yankees (4) - THE RIVALRY

The Results:
BOS-NYY: 2 relievers I just acquired before the deadline.. Brad Keller, from the Phillies for Hader, and Joe Jimenez, from the Astros… suffer losses as I get swept out by the Yankees on a walk-off 2-run homerun in the 14th inning of Game 2
BAL-KC: Royals won a pitchers duel in Game 1 while 1-hitting and shutting out the Orioles, who returned the favor in Game 2 with a 2-hit shutout of the Royals… setting up a winner-takes-all Game 3, where the Royals bats exploded to easily seal the series victory
PHI-MIA: Phillies out-slugged the Marlins as they complete a 2 game sweep. Jhoan Duran picked up saves in both of those contests, and now his Phillies will move onto the NLDS
ATL-MIL: The Miz faltered in Game 1 as the Brewers suffered a blowout loss, but bounced back the next 2 games behind better SP performances to win the series!
