Some flics from day one of @modebyflickr
my two photo walks were super fun. I always get motivated by looking through the LENS of creatives!! The rain was a trip, but I was super honored with the amount of people who signed up for MY walk. Had to channel my inner @jamelshabazz today!!

Day two here I come.

So happy I was able to attend @fullcirclefashionmn at Theater in the Round Friday evening. Produced by @rethinktailoring by Kristen McCoy, this show featured all upcycled and second hand looks, ie Circular Fashion. These talented designers turned trashion into fashion in the most spectacular way. They are saving the planet one up-cycled treasure at a time, and we should all be grateful for their work. Please support and shop local/upcycled/second hand when you can. We are lucky to have such a thriving sustainable fashion community in the TC. 🙌🏻🌏🩵

What is Circular fashion?
Circular Fashion is a regenerative system where garments are designed, produced, and used to maximize their lifespan, ensuring they are reused, repaired, or recycled rather than discarded. Garments were previously made with the understanding that you would take care of them, mend them, and hand them down. Fast fashion has driven us into a disposable fashion cycle and it’s time to break that cycle and come full circle back to the way things were. In Full Circle Fashion, we celebrate the secondhand shops that do the work of sorting, cleaning, and recirculating, and the upcyclers that break down and transform damaged garments to get them back into circulation. It aims to show and support the many faces of circular fashion in our community, merging artists and small business owners from the local reuse, theater, and fashion industries.
