Phantom Regiment 2024

2024 was my first drum corps season and I couldn’t have asked for better. An incredible show with incredible people. Going through the highs and lows of the season with this drumline was exhilarating. It felt like we gained momentum early and it never stopped, leading to great competitive success and getting to be in one of my favorite DCI shows of the last decade!
I also want to thank this staff for being absolutely incredible. Specifically @cheese_sanchez and all the snare techs: Dan Sailor, Josh Greggory, Jacob Kline, and Nathan Rearick. You guys taught me so much about drumming and each individually made my summer better. I love each and every person I marched with on this battery and I miss you guys a ton! This season undoubtedly changed my life and I will cherish the memories and people forever.

Aged Out.

Aging out of this activity has been a dream of mine since i discovered what drum corps was almost ten years ago. At that time I thought the purpose of drum corp was performing for tens of thousands of people and getting the highest score possible, I have since realized I was so unbelievably mistaken. It is entirely about the people you meet and the bonds that you will carry with you for the rest of your life. That’s the reason I kept choosing to come back to it. This place has given me memories i will carry with me till the day i die. This part of my life would not have been possible without the members and staff who welcomed me back with no hesitation year after year, they made every difficult moment worth it. I feel so lucky to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard. SUTA.

I normally like to keep these short but this deserved a longer one.

So much to be proud of this year. Thank you, Regiment, for changing my life once again. Thank you to all Regiment percussion members for busting your ass day after day. It was a blessing to take the field with all of you. Most of all, thank you to all of the Phantom Regiment alumni for making this corps what it is. What an absolute honor it was to serve the Phantom Regiment during its 70th year.
