In the second-half of 2025, Problems Printing worked with artist Erick Medel (@erick.medel) to produce his first collaborative silkscreen print editions, 2 Amigos and 2 Flores (2026). Wanting to share the things that made this collaboration so special, we created a video to highlight important aspects of the project.

Our two-print series is currently on display in our booth at the Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair (@powerhouse_arts) April 9-12, 2026.

Zero Days Without Problems, illustrated and printed by our resident Printmaker Nick Perry (@nick3am), chronicles the mishaps, accidents, crashes, and disasters that occurred during the first two years of Problems Printing.

The print is part comic relief, part ode to the chaos of starting a new studio in a new place. The problems never stopped—so we allowed them to be a part of the story.

Nick Perry (b. 1982, Athens, OH) lives in Los Angeles. Perry grew up in the tight-knit community of Athens, Ohio and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts, Printmaking at Ohio University, where he learned the value of versatility and collaboration. Nick maintains an illustration practice that showcases his brilliant capacity for observation and he can sometimes be found skating the curbs at his local Costco parking lot.

1/25 @stevenbrown.official from the legendary Tuxedomoon will be performing @zebulonla with support from @coffinprick and @catekennan_ !

American composer and multi-instrumentalist Steven Brown is the founding member of the influential art-rock band Tuxedomoon, formed in San Francisco in 1977 with Blaine L. Reininger, After signing with Ralph Records, home to The Residents, the band recorded the seminal albums Half Mute (1980) and Desire (1981), before relocating to Europe in order to pursue a more overtly avant-garde agenda. At that time, the group also included vocalist Winston Tong, bassist Peter Principle, and visual artist, Bruce Geduldig. The group moved first to Rotterdam, then Brussels. From their hectic concerts
and recordings schedule between March 1981 and April 1983, four important recordings emerged, beginning with the score for a Maurice Béjart ballet in March 1982, released as Divine. From this same period, we can find the theme song “Some guys” -composed by Brown and Tuxedomoon-, which the German filmmaker, Wim Wenders, took for his classic film, Wings of Desire (Der Himmel über Berlin).

In 1994, Brown moved to Mexico where he founded the group Nine Rain with Nikolas Klau, his partner since 1985.

From its beginnings and up to the present, Steven
Brown has had an uninterrupted career, in which he
has offered multiple concerts in several cities and
different regions of the world, from Tokyo to Seattle,
from Oslo to Palermo.

I’ve really been looking forward to getting word out on this:

At Zebulon, Sunday January 25th.

Coffin Prick will be playing shows opening for and backing the great Stephen Brown (Tuxedomoon, etc.) in January. We’ll be opening with a set of my music, followed by a full set of Steven’s, where we’ll be backing him up to play music from both his catalog under his own name and a collection of songs throughout Tuxedomoon’s. These will be his first shows in the US in over seventeen years. And opening the evening will be the enigmatic Cate Kennan, who also has a remarkable new record on the way.

Steven and Tuxedomoon have made a lot of music that has deeply impacted me, and I’m honored to be able to play it with him and my group. He and I first met when I approached him to sing on my Loose Enchantment LP on a tune titled “Work”. I had no idea how to sing it, and knew he was the person for the job. He agreed, and the results were unsurprisingly unusual and highly satisfying. So much so that we mutually decided to include a version of it on both of our new records (More on his incredible soon to be released LP soon). From there we’ve become friends, and have come to the conclusion that it would be a great idea to have him back to play his music for the first time in ages in the US. And so we are.

In addition, Tuxedomoon’s landmark “Desire” LP is being given a deluxe reissue treatment via Crammed disc later this month. A record so seductive, you can find yourself completely lost in it.

See you tonight for the 20th Annual HORRORTHON 🌽

Guess which films we’ll be playing:

1. Perhaps the opposite of MOTEL HELL. Steven Spielberg in no way directed this movie. I 💚 one of the actors, one was nominated for 2 Academy awards and another was in a film that won over 6 Academy Awards. Not Zombie Birdhouse but….   2. A perfect follow up for year 20. This version has never been screened in theatres. Featuring an actor who had the same job as Paul Thomas Anderson’s dad. Film premiered at the Galleria Cinema.  3. You may need a double-double to stay up and watch all these movies, eh? Otherwise, you might pass out on the Chesterfield. This is not a high school production of Lin-Manuel Miranda or a sequel to THE CARE BEARS MOVIE. One actor worked with both Jason & The Crypt Keeper.   4. This film is measurable by its DWC (Dead Weight Capacity). We dub this film excellente! Father Juan is not a reference to Juan Berenguer becoming a dad. “Está protagonizada por la actriz principal de EL EXORCISTA.”  5. Janus Films is responsible for this movie. 6…7… said the child looking into the mirror. It would be easy for Jessica Fletcher to figure out who produced this movie. An actor in this film acted alongside someone from CITIZEN KANE.  6. The last film of the Night is not about Modified Ford F-250s or the challenges of being Victor Wembanyama. No one in this film gets sick from being scratched by giant cats or mauled by a bear named Fred or eaten by a dog or attacked by a white buffalo.
