A month ago I went out with No Model, Ferment and Dog Breath on their West Coast run and as usual took a lot of photos. After a few weeks of going thru all the photos and layouting, I wanna share to y’all… The REAL ASIAN HATE West Coast 2026 zine. This is a collective idea with @kyfrecords and everyone involved in the RAH TOUR. And will be only available (maybe) at this weekend’s @asianamericanunityfest in NYC. 52 pages of a lot of shit that happened on tour. I knew I was gonna miss that fest but I still wanted to be involved in spirit and in print. Being on a tour with mostly Asian folks really got the creative juices flowing. Same with my book. All I want from this is to represent my culture, the continent I was born in, and to give visibility to all the asians in this predominantly non-asian scene. We are here, and we’re all pretty bad ass. Anyway, theres very limited copies at the fest, so I hope you get a chance to relieve one amazing week with us through the zine. 💛💛💛 This is for the Filipinos, Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Taiwanese, Tibetians, Mongolians, Indians, Bruneians, Burmese, Cambodians, Lao, Thai, Malaysians, Singaporeans, Nepalese, Pakistanis, Hmong, Palestinians, Afghans, Iranians, Iraqis, Lebanese, Jordanians, Vietnamese, Sri Lankans, Tajiks, Armenians, Bhutanese, East, South East, South, Middle east, Central asians in hardcore and punk. 🫡✨

never done this ig dump thing before.. but this RAH tour was one of the most amazing things I’ve experienced and meant so much to me. Got to meet and catchup with soo many cool awesome people, and rly glad we got to do this with Dog Breatth and No Model. It made me remember why I even do this to begin with. The Real Asian Hate tour was a success. Not because we played in huge venues filled with people or because we played with popular bands with clout, but because I got to be a part of something I wish I saw, not only as a “HC” fan, but as an Asian American growing up. I rarely experienced representation on TV, movies, and radio. Shit, matter of fact, Fast And Furious 1 didn’t even have Asians as main characters, and that’s our shit. I’m so grateful to everyone that brought this tour to fruition, every single band that played in support and every fucking person we met and spoke with. No matter what anyone says, representation matters. Since the beginning of the US, our gov’t has always pinned immigrants against each other to avoid anyone knowing who the real enemy is. Asian hate isn’t unique or new. It’s just a shitty slogan to scare us into thinking we are randomly being targeted without any provocations, as well as to encourage psychos into thinking it’s okay to. Why don’t they ever call other attacks against POC “black hate” or “brown hate”? RAH isn’t just about us. For Asians, we’re merely stating that we’re not the “model minority” that society has been bred to believe we are; we bite back and we outside. For all my other POC bros and sisters, this is about all of us as one. I fucking love being Asian, but I also fucking love all of us if we want it. RAH WEST COAST • 2026 My first tour of the year is officially over. Even if this was just in a span of 5 days and 4 shows this one definitely hit close to home. Being around people on the road who look like me and appreciate the same things as me is truly an experience I will never forget and take for granted. Representation is important. The hardcore community is important. The punk community is important. The LGBTQ+ community is important. The asian community is important. The Real Asian Hate family is important. I know I’ve only met most of the people of this tour for the first time but y’alls forreal family. And to everyone who I met on this run. Thanks for the words, the vibes and the memories. I really hope there will be more asian american bands that would rock the gig everywhere. Thank you @kyfrecords @fermentforever @dogbreathnyc for letting me rock with yalls! Friendship and family rules so hard.. even if my camera broke mid tour.
