At the end of my life, if all I have are these memories, that would be just fine with me 🩵 This one felt personal.

Nicks first time racing Karts! So much fun! Really proud of him for doing this without knowing anyone or ever doing it before. He’s wanted to race “something” since he was like 5 maybe sooner and now is the time he’s making it work! And most important….HE HAD FUN! 🤩 🥰

2016 was ridiculous.
Left my apartment a year after moving to Nashville to become a professional couch surfer for a while. Released a record. Traveled more than 200 days in a year for the first time. My only sister got married to a guy I hardly knew at the time and that felt like a pretty big deal. I led worship a ton, wrote a lot of music, and went to a lot of places I’d never been. Lost relationships, security, money, vision, and sanity. Vividly remember lying on the forest floor of Teton national park one night in my tent and thinking, “Lord, what in the world is going on?” I had honestly no idea. Felt like all the stuff I’d put my heart into fell apart in like a matter of two months. (Q4 of 2025? Hello?).

Here’s what I think about sEaSoNs since it’s like the most overused word in the Christian dictionary: the season you’re in now is doing two things—it’s implementing whatever was gained in the last season, and it’s growing whatever is needed for the next season. This is often a hard tension to bear. But it’s doable if you can imagine one hand holding the last season and another holding the next. And here we are, right in the middle. Being present is not avoidance of the past or future.

Past seasons remind us of how good God is at preparing us for whatever is coming. He believes in you more than you believe in you. He trusts me often more than I trust myself.

2016 was insane and full of many changes and disruptions. Every one of them prepared me for what was next. And every one of them, I was actually ready for. I just had never needed to use those muscles yet. New seasons are the novelty of using new skills while learning new skills. I mean…it’s pretty tough. But humans are remarkable.

But 2017 was awesome. Truly. All the big changes were unto a sEaSoN I loved very much. I’m not rushing into that. But I know it’s coming.

2026≈2017.
Giddy up. 🔥

Got to see @statechampsny for the 10th time! Alongside @broadsideofficial , @realfriendsband , and @cartel.band !

It was beyond amazing. Took so many photos & videos. Danced in the pit a lot. Crowdsurfed a few times. Met tons of new people & some remembered me from previous concerts I've been to. There were beachballs being thrown all over the place during some of the songs. Somebody gave me a beachball as a memento after it was all over. It gave me a lot of comfort on the journey back home to NJ.

I went to that concert right after my therapy session, and I was just talking about how I've been feeling like something in my life is missing. Like a void that needed to be filled.

Turns out, that concert was exactly what I needed, to remind myself that life is awesome. With plenty to be grateful for, stoked to be alive, drowning in my laughter & loving every day!

2025 is a wrap! This was by far my favorite year of touring with the boys. We took it to a new level and I’m beyond proud and thankful to get to say that I get to do this crazy life with them. We are sick 🤘
