TONIGHT. WEDNESDAY. @518craft . JAZZ & JAM. First Set at 7pm, calling all musicians in the next set, around 8:30-10
@brianhallidaymusic @jams.gasc @nickanderstagram
Some scenes from last week. My absolute favorite part is seeing and hearing the people who were dancing with a maybe stand up and take up the space. There is the practice of playing and performing music and then there is the practice of allowing yourself the space. I still remember ranting on to college friends how I wanted them to take up space… the whole space. We love it. ❤️ A journey, each to their own, but it must not be solo or in the vacuum. Come out. Sing and play! Practices I come back to every day and unendingly because my research shows: ❤️✨🎶☺️❤️😊☀️😎🥁🎻🎹🥸🥳👏🙌🤘🫵🫀🧠🫁👂🐣🐥🌷💐🪻🪷🌞🌛🔥🤸‍♂️🧘‍♂️🎼🎤🎺🪊🎷🎲🎁🪩🩷❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🖤🩶🤍🤎💔❤️‍🔥❣️💕💞💓💗💖💘💝💟🆒🆗🆓🆕🆙🔝🔚☑️🇧🇷✨❤️😁🥹🥰

FIRST SET and then WE JAM. Bring your axe and your beautiful self! Checking the Wednesday weather to see that we will indeed be singing in the streets this Wednesday again!! If I haven’t seen you yet, you know now, I would like to!! And if I have seen you over the last couple weeks, thank you so much for weaving that beautiful energy into the music and into the night!! ✨🎶❤️ Come out and play with this most excellent band and I hope to intrigue with some songs you might not have heard before! @brianhalliday on keys @jbassz on bass and @nickanderstagram on the drums. Btw… I do NOT plan sing on most of the jams. I love listening to instrumentals and all the other amazing vocalists. ✨🎶❤️🙏

Save the date! I’m so excited to be joining with two of my favorite musicians to debut new music which reflects on life in rural NY, California, and Peru! We will be recording and will also create a new improvised piece based on shared stories from the audience.

Hey Bay Area, remember back in 1995-2023-ish when everyone else thought we were avant garde and weird and 'out there' (cuz you know... 'microtones').

But that was never you... so that's why you get:
