📯 Introducing The Amazing South Coast Mermaid 📯🧜‍♀️ The Bloom-Born Siren of the Southern Tides 🌊🧭 Discovered on the shores of Aldinga Beach during the great toxic algal bloom, this strange figure is said to have emerged from waters turned hostile to life. Locals speak of a siren displaced by poisoned currents, a remnant of older oceans, when the sea still spoke of monsters. Displayed not as proof… but as a question… What else wakes when we wound the water? Collected and exhibited by South Coast Circus. Authenticity disputed... The warning remains… 🌐 www.southcoastcircus.com.au 🖤💛🖤

Dreaming up new fae… I’ve been thinking for a while now of making some faeries out of porcelain. Perhaps even ball jointed. I am liking where this idea is going… This little guy definitely inspired by the flower faire sculpture by @iriscompiet . #nickasserpentarius #faefolk #faeries #fairyart #sketchbook

What a weekend! Thank you so much for everyone who came out and showed their support and shared encouragement. My cup is truly full to overflowing 💖 an extra big thank you to everyone who adopted a pixie! I am so pleased that they all found new loving homes. For anyone that missed out and would like to grab something later, please feel free to message me. I’d be happy to take on some commissions in the coming months. . If you did grab something from my stall this weekend (or ever really!)and would like to share pictures of it in its new home, please tag me. It’s always lovely to see where the strange outpourings of my mind end up. . Also a big thank you to @odditiesandcuriositiesexpo for bringing their wonderful show to Adelaide and giving all the local strangling a place to congregate. It was so nice seeing such a mix of interesting and unique individuals. Most of all a HUGE thank you to my wrangler and beautiful friend Bianca of @wild_rose_dark_moon_ for giving her all and helping me. Without her support I would not be where I am today. Bianca is also a very talented tarot reader, so if you need some help divining your future, please check out her page. Also a shoutout to all the other lovely stall holders that brought their wonderful flavours and personalities to the event. Well done team! . Here’s looking forward to next year Xx . #nickasserpentarius #oddities #curiosities #manythanks

I totally forgot to post this before going off to see Heilung and Eivør on the weekend! I {for some reason} decided to add more to my plate in October by attempting a DTIYS challenge by @anniestegg alongside all of the crazy #drawlloween stuff. Ah well, better late than never . #dtiys #annieartchallenge5 #nickasserpentarius #nickas_serpentarius #artchallenge #watercolour #biro #illustration

It’s the nightly Creature Feature time! Omg, I was SO blown away by everyone’s shapeshifters today. I truly can’t believe it’s this club’s tenth anniversary! A few housekeeping notes: For those of you who don’t know, if your account is private, we can’t see your posts even if you use the tags 😭. Also, I try as hard as I can to get through the entire hashtag each day, but if there’s a piece you really want me personally to see, feel free to tag me in it! I always give permission during Drawlloween, and don’t be shy! The pieces I’m tagged in are always the first ones I check 💕 Stay tuned for a a bunch of big giveaways tomorrow! #mabsdrawlloweenclub #mabsdrawlloweenclub2024 #mdwc24d1
