⏮️ DSC’s editor is back at the Goodwood Revival in 2026.

Today was a perfect start to the event. Incredible cars, incredible stars and an absolute privilege to see the Ford GT MkIIs that finished 1-2-3 at Le Mans in ‘66 on the Dunlop stand and out on track.

What an incredibly cool weekend.

Thanks to Hot Wheels for having me and the car and taking such good care of us both, been such lovely people to work with and made the hole weekend very enjoyable.

Practical car is practical. Phase one of mods complete and yet can still take the B7 to the local timber merchant. One car does all! @mrctuningltd Stage 2 tune, @millteksport v2 cat-back system, @kwautomotiveuk v3 coilovers, @tarox_brakes upgraded discs, pads, hoses and @034motorsport chassis upgrades, topped off with OEM+ 20” Speedline Le Mans wheels (with @hrspringsuk hubcentric spacers) and 245/30 @falkentyreuk Azenis RS820 rubber. Big shout to @the_phirm @awesomegti and @countryclassicsracing for helping with the oily bits.

The Scramble proved to be a brilliant season opener at Bicester Motion, and Pendine were delighted to contribute both the XJR-15, famously driven by John Watson at Spa in 1991, and the XJR-S, awarded as the prize for victory at Silverstone, as part of the spectacular TWR display of 50 cars celebrating 50 years since the founding of Tom Walkinshaw Racing.

It was a privilege to catch up with the incredible people behind the cars synonymous with TWR, including the team who built our XJR-15, and to reunite the car with John Watson himself.

A huge thank you to our clients and friends who joined us for what was a chilly but thoroughly enjoyable day. We’re already looking forward to April’s Scramble.
