Even our team couldn’t believe we were taking on a 51-foot by 24-foot fighter jet! Hear and see our team’s reactions in The MiG-21 Project documentary. Watch the full documentary about today - link in bio.

Attending the @seattleartfair this weekend? We’ll be having a screening lounge at booth E01!

The past seven days have felt like a whole year — in the best way. I’ve shown work in amazing spaces with artists I admire, caught up with people I love, traveled to Seattle for a project I’m really proud of, wandered around in nature, and hung with some very cool dogs.

All of it’s been a blur in the best way — and still, there’s this bittersweet edge with everything going on back home in LA. Holding space for both things at once.

🔸 THE MIG-21 PROJECT 🔸
Trying to sum up the last 5 years of this project coming together feels impossible— but it sure feels good to FINALLY be able to share it with the world!

I feel incredibly lucky to be part of the team that has brought this to life with @afrika_47 -
alongside dozens of insanely talented artists, collaborators, and partners who poured countless hours in the studios and offices, sometimes masked up or behind computer screens, between South Africa and Los Angeles—this has been a true labor of love.
The MiG-21 Project is South African artist @afrika_47’s 5-year multidisciplinary journey—transforming a MiG-21 fighter jet into an unforgettable work of art, entirely covered in tens of millions of colorful glass beads.

It’s a powerful reimagining: turning an icon of violence into a symbol of resilience, creativity, and collaboration. 🧡
