What a beautiful night for North Bay Village. 💕

This past Sunday, we officially unveiled the historic plaque for The Lido, our beloved bubblegum pink MiMo building on Harbor Island. While The Lido had already received historic designation, finally seeing the bronze plaque installed at the entrance made the moment feel very real and very special.

Built in 1959, The Lido has somehow survived wave after wave of Miami change while keeping all the quirky charm and personality that makes this city special. It meant so much to celebrate alongside neighbors, residents past and present, and city leaders including Mayor Rachel Streitfeld, Commissioner Doris Acosta, historian/comic Freddy Stebbins, and our amazing HOA president Victoria Bates.

A huge thank you as well to Commissioner Doris Acosta for generously providing the delicious Cuban food for the celebration. 💗

Here’s to MiMo architecture, pink buildings with personality, and keeping a little piece of old Miami alive for just a little longer.

One of the coolest venues Miami has to offer is the @bridge4220. I found out about this beautiful studio back in 2022 through sessions with @nickcounty, Corey, and @guitarsoverguns. Now I get to host my own show here this Friday with some really special songwriters (@diyabrittomusic & @danielmilewskimusic), and I am excited to keep putting on shows that highlight the Incredible Talent we have here in South Florida :) I hope you make it out and experience the magic for yourself 🎶
