Gone to get my sparkle back

A dear friend and I were catching up on all things life before I left Bali and she helped me reframe this season to ‘getting my sparkle back’. I love this. While this season I wish to keep more private than usual, I guess a little update:

On Tuesday morning I landed back in New Zealand. I promised to take at least a week at my parent’s place in the countryside— to recalibrate and refresh a bit. And that’s exactly what I am doing.

I needed something different. Something to reignite the fire and passion for life, for creativity and for love. I felt the call to go home, despite six years of endless summer, to the winter months. This felt right.

The road ahead is unknown, and I welcome that for now.
