Great shoot yesterday with Cassie Carter, PHD, friend of the late great Jim Carroll. Cassie is not only the leading scholar regarding Jim Carroll, she also runs the definitive website catholicboy.com. She was there through much of Jim’s triumphs and challenges, and was pivotal in seeing the posthumous final editing work to ready Jim’s last work, The Petting Zoo, for publication. Jim’s spirit continues to bring so many special people together…he is our North Star…Behind the scenes photos and production sound by #audiokinstudio

We were so lucky to shoot our Film at San Domenico school in San Anselmo, California. This school is very close to where I grew up and so it was only fitting to shoot something in Marin County.

This is a time lapse shot by our talented behind the scenes cameraman @justinbenchphoto 📸 + 🎥

Technically our first day of shooting was at a baseball field, but here are the 2 final days at the school. There is so much more amazing behind-the-scenes content so this is just a small taste of what we have in store. Stay tuned for more! 🎬

PS our Seed & Spark is still active and will be going for another 2 days until 07/29 if you’d like to support our fundraising goals. Link in bio - thanks! 🙌🏼

Here is a short 43mm @dulens.hk lens test & bts for an upcoming spec commercial Directed by Tyler Brown.

It was fun getting to meet the production team and collaborate with some Bay Area locals. It was also cool to see the Sony Burano for the first time in real life! When I was deep diving what rig to buy next (before I got my Ronin 4D 8K) the Burano was also on the list of possibilities, it’s definitely a beast of a camera!

Anyways! Hope you enjoy the stills, and the full video it’s now live on YouTube🙏🏼 more coming very soon!

Letsss goooo!!
