I went Into the Woods this summer and it was a wonderful adventure!🌟🪾🌳👑🏰🎶

Little did I know that I was going to have the opportunity to be in my favorite musical. This show has been an absolute blessing to me. I am beyond grateful that I was a part in sharing this story with incredible, talented people. God is SO good.

I used to think my dream was to be a successful actress. Move to Hollywood, work my butt off, and “make it.”
After meeting Jesus, my definition of success started to change, and for a while, it was hard for me to understand how and where I should operate from when it came to fulfillment and creating.
Many times, I asked God to take my dreams and desires for storytelling away from me.
Instead, He kept speaking into why those dreams mattered.
I have had the honor and privilege of creating art and telling stories with friends, and Into the Woods has helped me realize a new dream.
To create and cultivate a creative space where people feel free to not only be themselves, but to laugh and play ~ for that is a vulnerable thing to do! To connect with other humans in pure, playful vulnerability.
Directing Into the Woods @tylercivic was a dream come true. It is a story that I hold near and dear to my heart and spirit. A story that speaks so honestly to the human experience of discontentment, and how what you think you want may not actually be what you want. And that sometimes…people leave you halfway through the woods, only to make space for others to walk with you the rest of the way.
To work with these actors, to talk through their characters and the writing of the story, filled me with a kind of hope I wasn’t expecting.
And working with our incredible production team-talking through sets and lights, costumes and props, watching everyone dedicate themselves to helping the vision come to life and doing the story justice-gave me pure life.
And at the end of the night, after long rehearsals that eventually turned into performances, we would stay out in the parking lot for hours. Sometimes without even saying a word. We would just sit in trusted silence, in the presence of other humans who reminded you, simply by existing, that you are not alone.
This is what the Lord has been showing me: the ministry of presence should never be underestimated.
A lot of the time, merely existing in the presence of someone else is more than enough.

There is just so much hope.

Thank you to EVERYONE who made this happen, for trusting me and who came to support!! #lovealwayswins

Simply a new year! I got to direct a show, grow closer to so many friends, I made new friends, I graduated! I did plenty of photoshoots, some professionally and some for fun. I did shows, spent time with my family, met who is now my girlfriend, filmed a short film with my best friend, this was a crazy year. 2025 will only get better and will hold so much more ✨

Some great people who I loved to spend this year with but weren't in the photos: @hannascroissant @vintage.shine_ @mathewdeptula @trulytinyman @soda_kindasucks @fanwarriorprincess @abbymay.o @carter.c10 @adalee.rhudy @software_notion and anyone else that I may have left out!

Sundays are made for a little emceeing. I'm very very thankful to have gotten to emcee today for the first ever Dance-N-Drill Talent Showcase fundraiser sponsored by the Rose City Arts Academy. Programs like this are so important and beneficial in our community, and it's always such a joy and a rush to see the next generation of performers in East Texas. Congrats to my friends Kimberly Lee and Nicholas Sheffield, and thank you for having me. The future is BRIGHT!
