AC Sprint Triathlon - 1:03:23

One of my favorite races to race, because short distance can be a lot more humbling then the long distance races. Had some trouble of the first mile of the run, but all in all was able to put together a 8 minute PR. Work is paying off @ney.coaching 7 weeks to get stronger and faster for New York.

From start to finish it was one hell of a ride… literally.

Had some technical difficulties with the bike (because of course 🙃), but still managed to power through and snag 2nd in my age division. The real win though? Knowing I didn’t do this alone.

Forever grateful for my coach @coachleshavoz and the training that got me here. The universe definitely knew what it was doing when it brought us together — we just keep stacking wins, one race at a time.

And huge love to PHL Athletics @phl_athletics If it weren’t for them, I wouldn’t even be toeing the line at these races. Thank you for pushing me out of my comfort zone, believing in me, and giving me the space to try something new and be part of this amazing experience.

Another sprint in the books.
Same grit, bigger goals.
Till next year.

Moments like these are always special for me. Seeing players grow over the years. Not just on the field, but off it. Seeing what type of humans they turn in to. Put the sport to the side for a moment. All of those trophies and team accomplishments mean absolutely nothing if you aren't developing into a good person.

Which is why moments like this are meaningful. I've known each one of these young men for several years now. One as long as 12 years. Which is insane. I am happy for their success as they all deserve it. Excited for their next steps 💪🏾
