particular shouts to @nickhetko
For a long time I was imagining this song featuring an acrobatic pianist. someone to play a bouncy soulful/oldgospel acoustic piano part. Nick approached it way more jazzy and it unlocked the wildest space. Thank you bro 🤘🏽

My last single TAKE YOU BACK is finally OUT on ALL platforms completing my JUST FRIENDS EP. In a time where artists focus on singles only and building up their algorithm, I decided to focus on completing a project and turning it into a LIVE concept album. Screw the algorithm - MUSIC FIRST! 🫶🏽 The right people will find me- I know it.

This could not have been accomplished without:
@d.r_funkenstein - mixing, mastering, bass 🎸
@musicbysoria @wildcoyote_rec - producer/engineer
@thebrooksbrand 🥁
@nickhetko 🎹
@kalirodriguezmusic 🎺
@jacobkhalilmusic - vocals/co-writer on WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO🎤
@wayneeverest - co-writer on ONE GOOD REASON and TAKE YOU BACK
@manonmanavit_art @evadeva._ @artsatgoddard 🫶🏽

I am looking forward to seeing you all tonight and performing the songs from JUST FRIENDS, sharing some unreleased songs, and celebrating this project with an incredible band in one of my favorite rooms in NYC.

Tonight at @joespub, I will be featuring:
@hkeys4lifeofficial - MD/keys/piano
@d.r_funkenstein - bass 🎸
@aleksiglickmusic - 🎸
@drumsrdrew - 🥁
@kalirodriguezmusic - 🎺

See you soon!

XoXo,
AB 💋
