We’re engaged!! He said yes 💍🎉 + New York Recap. When we planned this trip a couple months back I knew wanted to propose while there. It was our first time visiting and we experienced so many things on the list but this was definitely the highlight.

Thank you to our local friends @nickholch and @joeypruna for showing us all the best parts of NYC. 🙏🫶

Also shoutout to the kind couple and girl that witnessed the proposal and offered to take some photos recreating the moment.

I first met @brianstokesm in 2017 at the opening night of “Sousatzka” when I was performing opposite @victoriajclark. Eight years later, Vicki would cast me in the ensemble of “Love Life” at @nycitycenter and I would finally get the chance to learn and see Stokes’ genius at work. Well, a few weeks ago I got to perform “Make Them Hear You” in his honor as Vicki Clark presented him with an award from the @tadatheater. This business can be a strange one at times, but it’s nice to remind the high school theater kid in me that he can take a step back and manifest even half of what I just wrote 😮‍💨🥹 and shoutout to the @tadatheater program for all they are doing for the future of Youth theatre 📸: @chadkrausphoto

Day 8 -
Finished up cookies and made hot chocolate to take to Dyker Heights Lights watching with Alex’s friends! This historically Italian American neighborhood has a reputation of going over the top…it was nuking snow and it kept our Christmas Spirit alive another day!
Early Mediterranean dinner at Tanoreen and then after lights a little stop at Geno’a for cocktails and clams!
