Happy birthday to my best friend 🤍🫶🏼

Thank you for being my person, adventure buddy, race partner, forever wedding date, shoulder to cry on, biggest supporter and everything in between.
You are the best partner I could have asked for.
So loving, kind, generous and PATIENT with me.

Going on 5 years with you. It hasn’t always been easy, but I know it will all be worth it in the end.
Happy birthday my love x

Versus run party. Have to say this was definitely one of the best half marathons I have done. The route the vibe the run party. Well done @versussocks #versus you did well❤️ today was about having fun and running easy and just loving being in Stellenbosch and doing what I love. Day was a big mental test for me and I won #capetown #running #race #mylife @maverick.athletic

📍🇦🇪 Life in Dubai - a quick update on some highlights from the last few weeks!

It’s a roller-coaster of emotions moving to a new place.
The biggest challenge is I am actually still between SA and Dubai which can leave one feeling fairly unsettled.

The last two weeks have been a bit more work heavy, but between emails and calls we are still doing some exploring! 👀

So here is a little dump of some of the exciting things we have been up to! Oh, and I’ve made a whole bunch of new friends which is really great too 🥹🩷

Burj2Burj 2026 ✨🪩

Went into this run with two goals:
1. To pace @nicki_abel to a PB (sub 1h35)
2. To have a helluva lot of fun

Stoked to say, we smashed both those goals!
Had the best time with @nicki_abel and @dominiqueruns 🔥
Even worked in a TWERK (and the DJ loved it 😉)
And, banked some good mileage for the week!

Thank you @burj2burj !

A little postcard from my first week in Dubai 🐫
Lots of eating, running and exploring!

Between checking out some snazzy tourist spots and doing the tour de restaurants in our area, some other notable highlights include:
- cycling home with our groceries on a Careem e-bike (stability was questionable) 🚲
- getting dressed up and channeling my inner corporate girly to go to the WeWork (made some new friends there too) 🤝
- hiring bikes and cycling through the desert at the Al Qudra cycle track (but on this in a separate post) 🏜️
