all the ordinary july moments between the holiday + san diego ♥️

a few things:

today at church four people told me they stopped by to deliver treats, bread, and jam but i wasn’t home. i begged them today come back. reader, they did. this place is shaking out to be as good as can be.

there’s only three boxes left in the house. the garage is another story. but we’re hanging art + making it cute.

my tally of house guests are are par with my scoops of @blacksmithicecream

GOD BLESS SAN ANTONIO TEXAS

i’m so grateful for the past two years i have served as a representative of my lord and savior Jesus Christ, and for all of the INCREDIBLE people i have met there. God knew more than i ever could have the pure joy, love, beauty and peace that i would only be able to experience through what many call the best two years of their life 🫶 thank you all for the part you play in my life, i will never forget san antonio!

Still trying to find things to do with your family this holiday?! We totally understand! We have many fun things happening this month! Santa on Thursday, the Grinch on Saturday and next Wednesday. Then an ice cream class, Christmas story time and Sugar Cookie Decorating!

While donating blood today I stumbled upon the link shared by @nicklepickle of a slideshow prepared by @amelialyon for the celebration of life for @marklularoe

At the end of the photos was a montage of videos of Mark speaking at past LuLaRoe events and home office calls.

I sat in the car wash bawling my eyes out. Thinking of how Mark will never grace us with his PHYSICAL presence again at a LuLaRoe event.

I don’t know how much time had passed until I realized I wasn’t hearing any loud noises of machinery or spraying water. My car was covered in soap and nothing was happening. I immediately began to feel myself go from 0-100 annoyance of the thought of having to go inside and possibly having soap drying on my car without any way of rinsing it off.

But then I smiled…I looked up towards the sky and said “Thank you Mark”. The little things, the material things…those are all so trivial in life. It’s the people we touch and inspire every day that actually means something.

Take some comfort @deannelularoe in knowing that Mark is looking over all of us and that his legacy will continue to make a lasting impact.

Intermittent springs Wyoming 2025!! 3 miles on a bumpy road in, and not to lib of a hike up to the falls. So worth it. The men decided to cold plunge lower in the river. 🇺🇸July 4th evening!🇺🇸

When the rain cleared, @jrdnbrdy gathered the kids to do “kid fireworks.” He commanded obedience as he handed each kid a ball rocket. Then lit them one by one. He was on it with deliberate and specific instructions to only hold them straight out. Then set them on the ground once they had shot 10 balls. The kids loved it!!!

Ryan bought Lily a unicorn firework that shot sparklers out of its horn, then had blue smoke come out of the top, then sparklers shoot out of itstail. It was hilarious.

Then once it was dark, @jrdnbrdy pulled out the big guns and out on a pretty amazing fireworks show.

It was an amazing 4th of July all together!

🇺🇸July 4th afternoon!🇺🇸

After the parade it poured rain on us. But that didn’t stop the kids and teens from playing outside.

I made Cameron, Chance and Nora go on the zip lines with me.

Lily got 3 face/body paints. And a lot of fake tattoos. She loved feeding the horses.

Lily and Hazel road the little cars over and over.

@audrey_rossiter @kate_smith_1215 & @averysmith._ and I went thrift shopping at the local thrift/vintage store. 🦚 IYKYK

@shumwayfarmswy is always a must stop for the best ice cream you’ll ever have.
