A Look Back at KDF: 30 Years of Care《守护肾命的光》✨

Every day, around 6 people in Singapore are newly diagnosed with kidney failure. Yet for many of us, kidney health only becomes a concern when it affects someone we love.

On 30 August, we joined hands with Mediacorp to bring 5 real-life stories of kidney patients to the stage in celebration of KDF’s 30th anniversary. Mr @ongyekung, Minister for Health and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies, was in attendance to support our cause. ❤️

Through moving performances and heartfelt storytelling, we shared their struggles, resilience and courage, offering a glimpse into what it means to live with kidney failure.

Looking back, the musical storyscape was more than a celebration of KDF’s 30-year journey. It was an opportunity to shine a spotlight on kidney health, highlight the importance of prevention and early detection, and foster greater empathy for those living with the disease.

While the curtains have closed for now, we hope to open the doors to greater awareness, deeper understanding and a more caring and supportive community for kidney patients. 💚
