Felt GOOD to be back.

The pressure and nerves made me feel… alive. I missed the butterflies. I missed the crowd. I missed the potential to fuck up a mix. It’s important to challenge yourself, continuously. All of these things make us grow into better versions of ourselves.

I don’t regret taking time off. In fact, I now realize just how important it was for me. Not everyone has that kind of luxury, so I’m glad I didn’t waste the opportunity. No one will ever know how much work I put into changing my mentality. I had to surgically shift things around in my life to make space for personal growth, but now that I feel like I’ve made it through the other side, I have this deep feeling of gratitude that I wake up with every single morning. My goal is to help people attain that same feeling. I don’t know what role I can play in that yet, but I know that I have to keep pushing forward to do that. So… here’s to many more gigs, friendships, hugs and laughs.
