CAN ANYONE STOP THEM?🛑🛑🛑: (1) UNDEFEATED CITY TAKES OUT (8) SHARKS TO HEAD TO THE SEMI-FINALS👀👀👀
City Basketball Team defeated Shanghai Sharks 61-44 in the second round of the 2026 LentzSportzNet Playoffs. In typical City fashion, the game would begin with a 9-3 run that saw the Basketball Team take an early advantage. As the first half progressed, Shanghai would work to chip away at their deficit. As a result, the Sharks would cut the lead to 4 in the mid-stages of the first half. However, City would battle back with intensity and claim a 31-23 lead at halftime. Coming out of the break, something unbelievable happened. City Basketball would go on an insane 19-2 run to take a 50-25 lead into what was now the late stages of the game. The craziest part—it took City 3 minutes and 30 seconds to do this run. Following this run, Shanghai would attempt to stop the bleeding on all fronts. Even though they did well at building momentum, the Basketball Team was just too far ahead. With one final three to seal it, City would punch their ticket to the semi-finals for the third year in a row with their opponent yet to be determined. For Shanghai, despite being sent home in round 2, it was a successful season for the organization. After 3 seasons in the league, the team successfully won their first playoff game, and, as noted by their team, “if we had lost one more first round game, the rights of the organization may have been sold”. That said, although there is not an official word yet, it seems highly likely the Shanghai Sharks will return in 2027. 🤝

A NEW ERA IN SHANGHAI; (8) SHARKS TAKE DOWN (9) COURT KILLERS IN A THRILLER‼️
The Shanghai Sharks defeated The Court Killers 61-57 in the first round of the 2026 LentzSportzNet Playoffs. The first-half was a back-and-forth battle between the two opponents. With multiple lead changes, it appeared to be either team’s game. The two stars of each respective team, Sam Tortorella and Brett Glowacki, were the key reasons both teams were staying afloat in the first half. As the late stages of the half pushed on, Shanghai would be the team to pull ahead. This would give the Sharks a 32-25 lead at break. Shanghai’s All-Star Player, Sam Tortorella, had himself an incredible first half of play nailing 8 3s and 26 total points. Coming out of the break, the Court Killers would work to close their deficit. The game would remain close for a good part of the second half. Then, the Sharks would begin to pull away. With each player being a key part of their performance, Shanghai would take a 58-41 lead into what was expected to be the final moments of the game with one bucket sealing the fate of the game. Then, something magical happened. Brett Glowacki for the Court Killers would lead one final run for his team in the hopes of getting back into the game. Glowacki would go on a 16-0 offensive run stunning the Sharks to come within one 3-point of the victory. As the game would reach its epic conclusion, Sam Tortorella would drive to the net before being fouled. Glowacki did not hear this call and hit what he thought was the game winning shot. However, it was a turnover. The Sharks would regain possession, and Sam Tortorella would be the hero sinking a mid range 3-point shot to seal the game. He finished the game with 37-points and tied Jared Turner’s 3-point record with 11 3s in the playoff game. Despite the loss, Glowacki put up 36-points and 20 Rebounds for the Court Killers. The Sharks will now go on to face the 1-seeded City Basketball Team in Round 2. The Court Killers go home early in their first year back in the league. However, based on discussions, it seems as if the team will make a return next year, however, some of the roster is very much TBD.

MAFIA SAYS 🚫🦈 ALLOWED ON THEIR COURT💯💯💯
Monarch Mafia defeated the Shanghai Sharks 46-35 in the first game of a scheduled doubleheader. This would mark 2025 Points Leader Sam Tortorella’s first game back to the league since last July. Mafia began the first half on an 8-2 run. Tortorella, picking up right where he left off last year, would help his team climb back into the game scoring the first 10 points for Shanghai. Despite his performance, Mafia remained in control for the remainder of the first half taking a 24-15 lead into halftime after back to back 3-point buckets. Coming out of the break, Monarch went right to work to extend their lead. With another 8-2 run, Mafia would extend their lead to 32-17. Despite being 15, Shanghai managed a late game rally to close the gap. Little by little, the Sharks would battle their way back into the contest cutting the lead to only six as the final stages of the game crept near. Monarch would be within reach of closing out the game only needing a 3, but the Sharks kept hanging on. After shrinking their deficit to only six yet again, Mafia would call a timeout to slow the momentum. This would bode well for the Mafia as once the break was over, it was all business. With back-to-back two point buckets, Monarch Mafia would knock off the Sharks with an 11-point victory. They improve to 3-2 on the year. The Sharks remain winless at 0-3. Aidan Eidenmueller and Sam Tortorella both scored 19-points for their respective teams in the contest. Both teams would battle once more following the conclusion of this game. 🤝

SHADES OF A WET SUMMER?💦💦
The Scott Township Splashers defeated the Shanghai Sharks 45-38 in the second match of a scheduled doubleheader. The first half saw a back-and-forth battle with multiple lead changes throughout. The first half remained tight, but Shanghai would be the team to take the lead at halftime 24-22. Rookie Chad Gavulic, once again, was the man to keep Scott Township alive scoring 17 of the 22 points scored in the first half by the team. Coming out of the break, the Sharks would start to pull away with the lead. However, The Splashers were continuously on their tail. Going shot for shot, Shanghai’s lead began to tighten. Before you could fathom what was occurring, the game was tied at 36 apiece. This tie prompted the Sharks to take a timeout to slow the Splasher’s momentum. Unfortunately, this timeout didn’t go as Shanghai had expected. Following the stoppage in play, Scott Township would cap off the game with a 9-2 run to secure a 45-38 victory. Splasher’s rookie Chad Gavulic popped off for the second straight game. He, once again, recorded a double-double securing 15 total rebounds and an incredible 32 points in the victory. This point total is the fifth highest scored by a player in a regular game in LentzSportzNet history. He also becomes only the second player in LentzSportzNet history to record an in-game dunk. Scott Township starts their season 2-0. This is the best start for the Splashers’ organization in history. Shanghai starts their season 0-2 for the second consecutive year. The Sharks will look for their first win against Narnia. The Splashers will battle the Allegheny County Three Man Weave next.

CHAD MAKES A SPLASH IN SCOTT TOWNSHIPS SEASON OPENER 🌊
The Scott Township Splashers defeated the Shanghai Sharks 46-40 in both team’s season openers. The first-half saw the return game jitters infect both squads. Within the first ten minutes of the game, both teams were still well under 10 points each. As the first-half progressed, momentum would lean in Shanghai’s favor. The Sharks dominated the boards neutralizing all offensive chances by the Splashers which resulted in their 24-18 lead at half. Even with the strong showing by the team, rookie Chad Gavulic of the Splashers had an impressive first-half showing. He notched 16 of the Splasher’s 18 first-half points which helped cut the Splashers deficit to only six. Coming back from the break, Shanghai went to work to build on their lead. However, the Splashers had other plans. Brick by brick, Scott Township sliced away their deficit by capitalizing on the rebounds and utilizing smarter ball movement. Led by the rookie once again, the Splashers managed to take a 3-point lead in the late stages of the game. Shanghai attempted to recover the lead, but struggled to convert in the final crucial moments of the game. With a final bucket by Gavulic, the Splashers took home the victory to begin their season 1-0. In his Lentz League debut, Gavulic of Scott Township recorded a double-double finishing with 29-points and 17 total rebounds. The Sharks and Splashers would go on to play their second game immediately following the conclusion of this game. 💪

NARNIA GETS THE REMATCH THEY WANTED👀👀👀👀👀
Narnia defeated the Shanghai Sharks 60-47 in the first round of the 2025 LentzSportzNet 3v3 Playoffs. Shanghai began the game ahead thanks to Sam Tortorella’s offensive efforts. However, Narnia battled back, tightening the first-half deficit. The Sharks held a 24-20 lead as the break approached, but Narnia started to build some momentum. With an 11-0 run, they took a 31-24 lead into halftime. The Sharks came out of the break hot and again tightened the contest. They managed to shrink Narnia’s lead to only three at 39-36. Narnia would not be denied, though, and proceeded to rattle off another 11-0 run before. That resulted in Shanghai calling a timeout in an effort to stop the bleeding at 50-36. After the stoppage concluded, Narnia suffered a devastating blow. While on defense, Narnia’s second-leading scorer, Sam Graeb, went up for a rebound but planted too hard on the way down. This resulted in a knee injury that likely ended Graeb’s season. Following the injury, Shanghai began to rally again. This effort ultimately fell short as Narnia fended off the Sharks and was able to secure a 13-point victory for Graeb. Narnia seeks revenge as they head into round 2. They face (1) Gorny’s GoonSquad in a 2024 Championship Rematch. Despite the loss, the consensus from the team is that the Shanghai Sharks will be returning to LentzSportzNet in 2026. #basketball #sports #nba #hoops #2k #playoffs #round1 #shanghai #sharks #narnia #disney #trending

SHANGHAI FINISHES THE SEASON ON A HIGH 🪂🪂🪂
The Shanghai Sharks defeated MP Elite 46-38 in a single-game matchup. Like multiple other games this year, it was all Sam Tortorella from the jump. The Shanghai star went on a 12-2 run all by himself. He shot 4/4 at the three point line during the stretch. However, even with this showing, that didn’t slow down MP Elite. They clawed their way back and eventually took a 23-18 lead into the break. Coming out of the stoppage, the game began to tighten and became a true back-and-forth matchup. Tortorella continue to be the key to success for the Sharks. As the late stages approached, he helped facilitate a run that pushed Shanghai far enough away MP Elite to win the game. Tortorella led all scorers with a monster 27-point game. The Shanghai Sharks become the first team this year to end their 2025 campaign. They finish with a record of 5-7. They await the finishing of other teams in the league to determine their playoff opponent. MP Elite falls to 6-5 and have one game left on the schedule against Monarch Mafia. #basketball #sports #hoops #nba #2k #dawgs #shanghai #season #seasonfinale #trending #trendingaudio

WNBA REWRITES HISTORY IN A COMEBACK BUZZER BEATER LAYUP🙌🙌🙌🙌🤯🤯🤯
Following the unbelievable matchup that was game one, the WNBA Appreciation Club bounced back to defeat the Shanghai Sharks 45-44 in yet another thriller. The game began slow and was back-and-forth throughout the first half with neither side giving much up. The teams traded buckets for the most part of the first half but Shanghai took a one-possession advantage into the half. The Sharks appeared to begin to pull away and held a two-possession lead throughout most the second half. Shanghai climbed all the way to 44 points, one short of the necessary 45 but could not find a bucket. Then it was Andrew Bochicchio hitting a crucial three to take cut lead to just one at 44-43. The Appreciation Club then forced a steal and followed that with a game-winning layup off the hand of Nate Kirsch. WNBA once again finishes .500 on the day as their record moves to 5-5 on the season. The Sharks fall to 3-7 with the loss. Shanghai will play MP Elite first in their end of season tournament. WNBA will play GoonSquad next during their end of season tournament. #basketball #sports #league #pittsburgh #nba #wnba #thunder #shanghai #sharks #pacers #legendary #trending

THE SHARKS HIT THE WNBA CLUB WITH A STONE COLD STUNNER🗿🗿🗿🥶🥶🥶⚡️⚡️⚡️
The Shanghai Sharks snapped their six-game losing streak, defeating the WNBA Appreciation Club 45-42. However, the game began with a WNBA run, putting them in command early. Shanghai struggled to gain traction for most of the first half as the Appreciation Club took a 12-point lead into halftime. As it has been for a theme of this franchise for three seasons now, WNBA could not hold down the lead. The Sharks began to rally on both sides of the basketball, quickly slashing into the deficit. Before you knew it, Shanghai had the lead. The teams went back-and-forth through the later stages of the game until Kain Bryan hit a smothered wing three to put his side up 43-40. A Nate Kirsch layup pushed the WNBA deficit back one at 43-42. The Sharks did not give the Appreciation Club even one chance to win the game as they found the winning bucket on the very next possession. The victory lifts Shanghai to 3-6 while WNBA falls to 4-5. Despite the loss, WNBA’s Nate Kirsch finished with a monster 26-point game. #basketball #nba #wnba #shanghai #sports #hoops #league #photography #2ksports #trending #wwe #stonecold
