Week 2 and Week 3 of Spring Training ✅️

Spring Training is finally over. Debut was good, I had a phenomenal lot and performance.

I think these last 3 weeks have been a challenge for me mentally compared to the playing aspect. Jjst being more on top of my shit. I feel after OCI I laid back for Gold, and that was the wrong direction for me. I hit a wall towards the end of spring training, but I've pushed past it and been changing my mindset to take more initiative to how well I can lock in mentally, like getting drums out and put away faster; getting to stand by and set faster, anything smaller like that. But the little details really add up, and I wanna lock every detail of drumming in drum corps to a tee, including the mentality.

So excited to go on NorCal tour. Thnx for those who came out to our preview. If you have ANY lot vids PLZ send them 🙏

Week 1 of All Days ✅️

I forgot to post this. Been tired af.

This is by far the best season I've ever had so far. I've improved marching wise and playing wise trapidly, at a way faster pace than any season so far. Love the staff, love the vibes, love the crank. Its everything I've wanted out of a season so far. My feet have also felt way better than they ever have in a season.

I'm finding a lot of issues that I've been trying to fix. Overplaying is so hard to not do when our technique is very style oriented compared to very robotic like my last two season's. But it's improving. Marching has been a huge focus for me as well.

W week so far

Memorial Day Weekend

Weekend 7

Memorial Day Weekend

Definitely the hardest rehearsal weekend I've ever had so far. My feet are killing me, I have a huge sunburn on my body, and my quads are as sore as ever. But throughout the weekend, I found myself getting more acclimated, and pushing through. Each start of beats to feet or ensemble block, I'd be worried for my feet. But each time, I found my feet feeling fine. By the end of each day, they'd go back to hurting, but my feet are starting to get used to it again. Its always really hard at the end of each ensemble block, but by all days I'll start chillin. My feet are usually chillin by the first week of spring training each year.

Drill is fun af, love the new snare techs, and I love the challenge. Even if I'm having a hard time getting through block, that's ultimately what I want. I want the challenge of pushing myself to be a better performer and person.

Really long talk for a longer weekend. I feel like now I know what to prepare for for all days. Also lowk I need better shoes 😭 my show shoes don't cut it no more.

Weekend 5 technically

Definitely one of my top 5 rehearsals I've ever had so far. Vis block felt really great for me.... till up for 4 and down for 4

I ran a mile in 9 minutes so I'm progressing. Quads are still sore from that block tho. Hour and a half of conditioning goes hard
