LBD with a side of wild. 🖤🐆

This dress really didn’t need much extra styling. The off-the-shoulder neckline already gives it some interest, and the softness of the material makes it feel a little more special than your average LBD, especially for fall. My natural instinct is to add some details, but knowing when to stop is probably the real styling exercise here.

I kept the shoes and jewelry simple and let the bag be the fun part.

I don’t usually play favorites with my bags, but this one may be at the top of the list. The mixed fur and texture are just so me. It’s eye catching enough to make a simple black dress feel completely different without actually needing anything else.

NCStyle turns 6 ✨🥂🤍

@nicolecripestyle - you have created something so special and i couldn’t be more proud of you, and honored to be a part of it. So much of this business is what it is because of your heart and hands in it, and we can all feel the impact it’s made. Here’s to many more years chasing our dreams together🤍

When in doubt, black it out. 🖤

Sometimes I want all the color and accessories, and sometimes an all-black outfit just hits, especially on a rainy day like today.

I kept this one pretty simple with a basic black foundation of turtleneck, leggings and tall boots, then added the fur vest for some texture and the newsboy cap because apparently I’m incapable of being completely simple. The gray bag breaks up the monochromatic look just a little without changing the vibe.

And the real endorsement? Even my oldest son complimented this outfit. Unprompted. If you have kids, you know that’s basically a five-star review. I’ll take the win.

Sunday Escape: NYFW. 🗽✨

Fashion Week is in full swing in NYC, so of course I had to give a little nod to one of my favorite style icons, Carrie Bradshaw.

I’ve always loved Sex and the City, and if I had to describe my own style, I’d say it lands somewhere between Carrie and Charlotte. Give me Charlotte’s classic, feminine silhouettes, then let Carrie loose on the accessories and shoes 👠

This outfit feels like a good mix. The romantic tulle skirt and cropped cardigan are sweet and feminine, but then there’s the sparkly shoes, the statement turquoise bag, and just enough going on to make it feel like me.

That’s just another thing I love about fashion. You can borrow inspiration from people whose style you admire without trying to dress exactly like them. Take the parts you love, add your own personality, and suddenly it becomes yours.
