DOT DANCE REUNION! I know yall hear me talk about the immense impact that @latte_dottie and the @everythingdotdance community has had on my dance journey. At this years reunion we looked back on the year, but I looked back on the last two years under Latte. I’ve been able to do so many things thanks to the tools and mindset that I gained from her coaching. I joined a dance team with Aftashock and started performing again, I helped start New Style Hustle classes in San Diego with an amazing team, I performed NSH alongside my dance team, I subbed several dance classes, and I’m working on some creative projects that I’ve been able to bring other friends and dancers into to give them a platform to showcase their art. I literally didn’t have any of that on my mind in December 2021. I was just taking classes when I could and going about my day.

Latte, I am so grateful as your client and mentee, but I am also SO PROUD of you as a friend. To see what you’ve been able to create with this community and program is inspiring, and you deserve every bit of praise, happiness, and success that has come to you. You, a single individual, brought out so much in me (see above 😆), and I’m doing my part to keep that legacy going. Your coaching has been the single most important aspect of my current dance life. Not sure if you know this, but my current dance tribe (outside of the dot dance community) is part of my life because of NSH classes, and they are now my closest friends. I do attribute that to you and your coaching. ITS ALL CONNECTED!

2024 is going to be my best and most fulfilling dance year yet. I started many things these past two years but also learned to let go, and in 2024 my overarching goal is to focus on the things that REALLY bring me joy and gratitude. That might mean less dancing from me, but more passion from my heart. You’ll see what I mean ❤️
